Title: Yule Query
Post by: Elendilwyn on 18 March 2006, 11:19:00
Just one query... what is the equivalent of Yule in Santharia? I found this silly story I wrote for someone's kid in an attempt to explain Yule (a Romanticised, fictive one that is not related whatsoever to the real Yule - Just a bit of frivolous story-telling) and I thought since that story was sitting around doing nothing, I might as well convert it to a Santharian story or something along that line.

Yule tranlates in my dic to Christmas - and of course we have nothing such here in Santharia. But Irid started with a story and named the changing of the year "yearturn", see here

Aye... Hmmm I read the entry and it certainly made it a little tough since there there are no shortest or longest day. I tried to adapt it though, borrowing from Irid's idea of storytelling. Here goes a wild attempt...

A Story of Yearturn
