Rayne I don't think there would be a problem with the water being distributed evenly because wouldn't the moisture just transfer between all of particles, one cooling the other and so on?

Can someone please give me some comments on this?

Rayne: So could I say instead of simply wetting there hands the caster sprays the water or something. I don't pouring it around him/herself while spinning in a circle or someting like that?

What do you mean though you can't freeze Car'all? I don't think I ever said that... I just put that by manipulating the temperature of the car'all it freezes the air making the shield of ice.

Silfer: I will try and make it longer like you said, also I will change that thing about manipulating the car'all.

Frost Nova (Fire spell level 6? Not sure about this)

Spell effect: Frost Nova – The caster manipulates fire car'all, cooling it by making the fire car'all less dominant which eventually causes the moisture around the caster to freeze giving him control of a large shield of ice surrounding the caster. The caster can then have the ice burst outwards giving this spell the name Frost Nova. The ice is extremely sharp when shot though, the extreme force put out by the caster crushes the ice shooting small bolts of ice outwards in all directions.

This spell is designed to impale it's target with the ice bolts. Ways to counter this are found below.

Casting procedure: The caster cools the air with water.(Described in reagents) The caster clasps his/her hands together and speaks the magical formula. This begins the procedure of cooling, to have the ice burst outwards the caster simply makes a pushing motion as if throwing the ice in all directions.

Magical formula: Help    

Target: The air around the caster...

Reagents: Water(cold) - Spinning in a circle motion wetting the air and car'all around the caster.

Magical school: Fire

Spell class:

Range: At the first level that the caster learns this spell he may only freeze up to ½ a ped of air around him. It increases by ½ a ped for every level that the caster gains.

Casting time: 10-20 seconds – depends on level.

Duration: Once the air freezes that is that. There really is no duration, once it freezes the caster does what he intends to with the ice.

Counter measures/Enhancing measures: Another mage could create a wall or shield of ice to protect himself from the ice, or a fire shield to melt the ice. Something to neutralize the ice bolts and to prevent the physical and possibly fatal damage that this spell can create.

By using a variety of other water reagents and that the caster can make the spell more effective and cast it with more ease. Using these enchances techniques are sometimes a necessity if you are performing this in an exceptionally dry area.

I think I will use connect with fire... sounds good...

yea, that was what I was going to do in the beginning(Fire Control) But I looked in the dictionary on the site and I can't see anything for Contorl in Styrash...

Took out that little part in the counter-measures section. Added a table to casting time and range as well as some info. Tell me what you think  

So what do you think of this spell so far?

Which is why this spell is designed for low level mages(ie. Level 1s and 2s)  

I like what you wrote there Rayne... very helpful, I added a new paragraph on how young mages use this spell to get more attuned to the element and yada yada its all up there  

Alright so this spell idea is no good. That's fine, I understand completely Dasson... ummm... there were two other spells that I was planning on working on after this one. Actually I only like one of them, what do you think... Fire Nova? It creates an expanding ring of fire that explodes from within the caster.

If you think that idea is alright I will begin work on that now.
