If you've made more than 100 posts you can raise/lower other people's auras. Basically if they do something that you like or are nice to you you can up their aura, but if they are being uncooperative, etc. you can lower it. I guess it's kind've a measure of your populatiry to some degree.
~wrings out his slim fingers nervously~ Well... I don't really no how to say this and avoid anyone getting a bit angry with me, but..
~gulps and continues~ Umm.. You might have noticed that I took a rather extended leave lately, and just arrived back yesterday-ish. (I had some RL issues to work out, details a bit personal.) But, during my absence I had some time to think, and I think that this project may be a bit too much for me. I have no problems with big projects, just this particular big project just doesn't hold enough interest with me.
I wasn't sure when I first started it if I really was experienced enough to write the entry for a continent, and I now regret the decision to go ahead and do it. I think I was a little bit shocked that I had been offered the entry and so went ahead and took it in my surprise. However, this just hasn't been my cup of tea, and I wasn't exactly doing that great of a job anyways.
So... yeah. I don't think should continue with this big project. I don't think I have the time to do it satisfactorily and while I think I could maybe squeeze it in, this hasn't quite caught my interest enough to cram it into my schedule. I'm still story and CD mod on the RPG side, and I do still want to write some other entries around the Murmillions, developing their cults, etc., and dabbling in magic a bit, but the entire continent unfortunately won't work for me. That is if you guys still want a quitter working with you..
~looks around apologetically and waits for his aura points to drop into the negatives~
The 'nomadic' are the Doimo. Well the ones close to the Zhunites are. The nomads to the east of the doimo are a dwarven tribe. (I think it's the Kavogerim, but don't know for sure off the top of my head)
A main issue with the map: "Because of the circumstances, I cannot currently make edits to Western Nybelmar."
For those who follow PSP/Photoshop things, the layers only remain seperate as long as they are saved as a file specific to those programs. In order to upload them though, you have to compress them into a jpeg or png file, and by doing that they lose their layerings. So I do not have the proper layers in western Nybelmar that I do in the east (since I created those myself) necessary to alter the colorings, without erasing the map in the background.
There would be two methods by which I could do make the western half editable. One option would be to get the original program file (.pspimage or whatever photoshop calls it) with the layers still in effect. I could merge the layers in the east with the layers on the west onto the map background fairly easily.
~Or~ If the original layers aren't available, I would have to redraw the western half of the map, so that I could edit it appropriately. Obviously I'd prefer the first method, if at all possible, but this is the only solution I can think of, should the original file not be available. I'd just use the original compressed map as a guide, but then put all the territories on seperate layers, with the map as the background. However, I can't find the larger, easier-to-read version of the blank Nybelmar map, the one under the Dev. Maps section is considerably smaller, and harder to read.
So I either need the original layered version -or- the larger-sized map, in order to edit the western territories. Sorry for the inconvenience! I feel so unqualified for this assignment!
