Habitat/Behavior:
Because Frost Dragons are by nature solitary creatures, they rarely travel in packs, given the few times the young do so for survival purposes.  Although these dragons aren't the most aggressive ones out there, they usually go long periods without food, thus these beasts will often go after any meat that wanders into its misdts... yah... that includes you o.O;;

(I'm not sure if this is enough, but I think I explained the other "behavior" things in other topics.  If I'm missing something that you want expanded upon, lemmee know.)

Well the problem is that with all the ideas out there, no matter how original one tries to be, there's usually something out there just like it.  I must also get this out: I used to be here constantly a long time ago, and when I first started coming to Santharia, I had to read up on a lot.  There have been SO many new additions since I've been here last, that I don't even know where to begin in terms of reading up on things.  I'll admit I was almost discouraged to starting up in the beginning by the sheer amount of studying I had to do.

Now please don't take me wrong, this is a great site.  Buuuutttt... I would let the members take their time with the studying and reading through the site.  If they make a mistake, gently and politely correct them as if they are your best friend.  That's what'll keep them here.  Again, nothing that I'm saying you're doing wrong, but I'd ease up just a tad bit, Thuja.

okay, I don't really know if the list at front is going to be changed or not, but I have a question about the splitting of "dogs" and "wolves".  Aren't they the same thing?  Now granted "dogs" are more domesticated, but in my opinion, they're the same species.  My suggestion would be to place them in the same category, such as "canines".  Sure it's latin, but most people will know what you're talking about.  ^_^

I hope I didn't offend you, Judith.  What I meant by "getting discouraging" was I've tried making about 3 beasts now, and there's always been one reason or another, and no matter what I did, it never got approved.  (The Remusian War-Horse, the Tresh'Aal, and the Gresh'Laa).  >.<  I got really far w/the War-Horse, too, until it was decided that it wasn't needed... ugh...

Yes I did see the existing entry.  That's why I edited out the appearance of the dragon.  As for the mating, there wasn't so much as a sentence of info for it.  I'm not saying that two Frost Dragons won't fight over a female, but it's uncommon considering that three dragons cross paths at the same time.  We could keep the pic there, or I could draw one myself.  It's up to you, I don't see where it's said that the dragons won't fight over a female, just that it's rare.  Anyways, if there's anything that needs editing, please tell me!  I don't mind if everything's wrong, but I'm going to need to know if I'm to improve the entry, right?

ACK!!! Apparently there already is appearance for Frost Dragons.  Habitat/territory too.  I'll omit that from my post, and edit the rest, okay?  I'll make sure to add MUCH more detail!!! ^_^

the Frost Dragon
Basic Overview
Among the smallest and least intelligent of dragonkind, Frost Dragons are merely feral predators.  The snowy faces of these wintery beasts show more ferocity rather than the slyness of their more powerful kin.  The Frost Dragon has scales as white as powdered snow, and their scales are large, like plates of armor.  Their paws are extremely padded, allowing them to walk on sheets of ice with the greatest of ease.

Appearance
Frost Dragons are so named for their "frosted glass" appearance. Colouring varies from dragon to dragon, mostly in pale shades of blue, indigo, and off-white. Very few have the brown or black scale colouring of Horned Dragons. The glass-like look is constant in all of their species, as are the patterns on their backs - a trait they share with their snake relatives. These patterns are distinctive to each Dragon, making each one unique and recognizable.

The long, agile bodies of Frost Dragons represent a very elegant snake-like form of dragonkind. Their enormous wings look like fragile sheets of ice, but in truth are strong, hard wings with which male Frost Dragons can propell themselves through the air with speed and agility. Female Frost Dragons do very little, if any, flying. Instead, they conserve their skill and energy for Ice Magic, which male Frost Dragons are incapable of using.

Adult Frost Dragons can reach a lenth of up to 11, including a very long tail, and reach a wingspan of up to 13 peds.

Territory
In general Frost Dragons can only be found at northern regions in the world of Aér'aí'chán where chill winds and icy conditions provide the essentials for their nature. It is said that hundreds of Frost Dragons inhabitate the mountains of Eternal Ice at the Dark Lands of CYHALLOI far to the north, where the world of Aér'ai'chán finds its end. However, a small amount of this species also exists at the SARVONIAN continent, mainly at the TANDALA mountains which are separating the lands of the BARBARIANS from Santharian territory. It seems obvious that humans very seldom encounter these creatures as the regions where these dragons live in are very inhospitable and dangerous. Furthermore Frost Dragons very seldom leave their cool territories, not even for hunting reasons, and mainly keep to themselves. When battling their quickness in combination with the brutal force of their claws are their most effective weapons.

Special Abilities
Frost Dragons have many abilities, most giving the dragon an edge in battle.  First and foremost, it can breathe pure ice from its mouth.  Much like a stream of fire, only with cold.  The dragon also can cling to any surface, as long as its icy.  Frost Dragons may create a wall of ice, but doesn’t that often, due to the amount of energy it requires. The dragon can also create a fog that freezes anything it touches.  It is immune to the effects of this spell due to its pads.

Diet
Frost Dragons will eat almost anything.  However, they are very picky about how their food is prepared, and will only consume food that has been frozen.  Usually the Frost Dragon will finish off its prey with its breath of cold so that it can devour it while its still stiff and frigid.  The Frost Dragon will bury any other kills in snowbanks until they are frozen to the dragon’s content.

Mating
Frost Dragons only come together and tolerate one another in order to mate.  Even then, there is no set time or ritual.  However, a female generally is in heat during the winter.  If a male and female cross paths during that time, the two will begin to ‘play.’  Although ‘playing’ can seem quite virulent, it is never to the death, and is actually quite affectionate, much like how cats roughhouse.  If the male can overpower the female, then the male will mount her, tails intertwined.  If the male cannot overpower the female (a rarity, but not unheard of), the female will dismiss the male and fly off.  

Once the male impregnates the female, the male leaves, entrusting the female with the care of the children for the first two years of their life.  The female carries the babies for about six months, then lays a batch of eggs, usually between 3-5 eggs.  Once the two years are over, the mother leaves the babies to fend for themselves.  Oftentimes the babies will stick together and cooperate for another year or so before going their separate ways.

Anything else
Frost Dragons tend to like jewels.  Especially diamonds.  Depending on how many and the size of the jewels, some Frost Dragons may allow some prey to go, granted they pay a hefty price of course.

The most famous Frost Dragon ever known to humanoids in Santharian lands was KEHLEMIN at the Tandala, who was slewn by the elf ARBETHANDER at 367 b.S.

I know it's more than an rpg!  But... Anne McCaffrey made these little guys?  Then technically they shouldn't even be in D&D!!!! Oh well... >.< maybe I'll just make a tiny lil' dwagon (pronounced very child-like) that was bred specifically for being a pet... hmmmmmmm.... or maybe a line of dragons that drank too much coffee?  hmmmmm... much to consider... *thinks*

Pseudodragon
Basic Overview
Pseudodragons are one the smallest and most playful of the dragon family.  They are small dragons that enjoy playing, even with another creature.  However, they do have feelings, and will attack if provoked.  Although the pseudodragon is small, it still packs a punch.

Appearance
Pseudodragons’ scales are a bright glossy scarlet, marking them easily spotted by hunters and predators, so they stay underground and do not venture outside until they are more able to take care of themselves.  Nearer the end of their youth, the scales turn a red-brown, and the glossy texture is replaced by a smooth, dull finish.  As the pseuodragon ages, the scales become thick and strong as metal.  The neck frill and wings are an ash blue or purple-gray toward the edges, becoming darker with age.  The pupils of a pseudodragon fade as it gets older; the oldest pseudodragons have eyes that resemble molten lava orbs.  A pseudodragon’s tail is about 2 fores long (twice as long as its body), barbed, and very flexible.  The wingspan of a pseudodragon is equal to its tail length (2 fores).

A pseudodragon has two horns on its head, originating at the snout and sweeping back, usually a goldish-yellow color.  A frill sweeps out towards the back of the head, one on each side of the pseudodragon’s head.  A large frill runs down the neck and body of the pseudodragon, coming to a stop only at the end of the barbed tail.

Special Abilities
Pseudodragons, like many dragons, have a vicious bite.  However, their major weapon lies in their sting-equipped tail.  The sting of the pseudodragon’s tail acts much like a scorpion’s does.  It is very painful, but not fatal to most humanoids.  Pseudodragons also have the ability to see invisible objects, including invisible people and creatures.  Also, pseudodragons can communicate telepathically, as well as vocalize animal noises, such as a rasping purr (pleasure), a hiss (unpleasant surprise), a chirp (desire), or a growl (anger).

Diet
Pseuododragons will eat almost anything they can get their paws on.  Their small size does hinder that ability, but they more than make up for it with cunning and their tail.  However, their favorite food are the rats that oftentimes run amok in the world of Sorren.

Mating
Female pseudodragons are usually in heat during the summer, approx. ever three years.  Because of the rarity of the pseudodragon, it is rather uncommon for a male and female to interact during this time.  However, if they do, the female lets the male know that she’s in heat by nibbling on the horns on the male’s head.  Then the male will mount the female, and impregnate her.  The female will carry the babies for about 3 months, before depositing them all in an isolated nest.  The patch of eggs usually number around 7-9 eggs, although there have been some instances where about 12 were laid.  The reason why the female lays so many eggs is because the size of the pseudodragons leaves it vulnerable to predators.  Usually only 1 or 2 pseudodragons survive into adulthood.

Pseudodragons as pets
A pseudodragon may very rarely seek humanoid companionship.  It stalks a candidate silently for days, reading his or her thoughts and judging his or her deeds.  If it finds the candidate promising, the pseudodragon presents itself as a potential companion and observes the other’s reaction.  If the candidate is delighted and promises to take very good care of it, the pseudodragon accepts.  Otherwise, it flies away.

Anything else
A pseudodragon’s personality has been described as catlike.  At times it seems arrogant, demanding, and less than helpful.  It is willing to serve – provided that it is well fed and groomed, and receives lots of attention.  The companion must pamper it and make it feel like the most important things in his or her life. If the pseudodragon is mistreated or insulted, it will leave – or worse, play pranks when least expected.  Pseudodragons particularly dislike cruelty and will not serve cruel masters.

Also, pseudodragons are attracted to bright, shiny objects.  (oooooh… Shiny…!)

Okay, I've purposely left habitat/territory undone because, frankly, I really have no idea where these little suckers would thrive (I really don't have much time to research every last map in Sorren).  So if you have any suggestions, please tell me!!! >.<  Thanks.
