Hi there Merlyn! I see you have found our board which is currently under much stress as it is at risk of being shut down (or so i believe).

Anyway, Its nice to see a new face in the community but I think you should give a thought to your first entry. Here we create a very detailed world, including animals, plants, tribes, forms of magic, weapons, religons, the list is endless. Most like to start with a simple beast or plant entry.

If that seems to interest you might I suggest you place them in the Rainforests of Shar (the blue circle) where I am currently working. There is scope for everything from furry little sprites to terrifying wraithlike creatures in the jungles (I would suggest something simpler as a first entry though).

Anyway, I await your first entry Merlyn.

'fraid they already exsist, I would suggest something more like a simple lizard, but its blood might have healing properties, or an inconspicous tree that has sap which can be used to treat skin imperfections. These seem alot more believable then a group of walking trees.

There was a devasting event (I cant explain in too much detail) when a very powerful individual let out a cataclysmic burst of energy from inisde the forest. This created loads of undefined, ghastly pieces of nastiness. Since these are magically created they could have loads of cool abilites, just make it original.

It would be intresting because people could make all kinds of wooden stuff that won't burn!

Deciphr, don't use the Cataclysm that lead to the Year of Darkness as an excuse to create sdtrange effects that easilly.
It will only lead to disapointment as entry proposals are given a no-go due to being unrealistic, or unfitting with the surroundings. also, that kind of creations related to the Krean must have an OK from Coren, and he is unavailable for quite a few weeks to come.
