Ok, I want to be challenged by brainteasers and such so I made this. Ok, I'll start off with a humorous one. Please don't tell the answer until a few people try.

What do Choclate, Coffee, and Men have in common? (no peeking on the RPG board)

Well...this is just a guess, but ideally they should all be hot, sweet and rich?  :D

Okay, my turn.

This is a riddle I heard years ago ad a child and it appealed to me then, so I memorized it.

Can you guess?

John gave his brother James a box,
About it there were many locks.
James rose and said it gave him pain,
So he gave it back to John again.
This box was not with lid supplied,
Yet caused two lids to open wide.
And all these locks had never a key...
What kind of box then, could it be?

Hmmm... does it have anything to do with boxing perhaps?  huh But "box" can't be used as a substantive for a blow - or can it? The locks are also dubious in that context.

Oh. My. Gosh. Artimidor, I think that's the answer! Boxing! As for the locks, I think there's something called a headlock or bodylock or something like that. And the two lids are eye lids widening!

I've never heard this riddle before, by the way. That's a cool riddle. Gotta memorize it sometime. The box is a punch! No "brotherly love" was lost between them, I suppose. *giggles*

Creative guessing, here!  thumbup

That is the general idea--but locks actually refers to locks of hair, thus:

As curly haired James lay sleeping in bed,
His brother John gave him a box on the head.
James awoke and spying his brother,
Doubled his fists and gave him another.

I believe it was originally penned by Charles Dodgson (Lewis Carroll, author of Alice in Wonderland  for those who don't know), but I could be wrong.

Ok, here's two simpler death riddles.

1. A man lay dead in the desert. He had broken ribs, and was wearing a back pack. He had ddied two months ago. Yet nobody passed through the desert in three months. How did he die?

2. A man goes to use the restroom. After he goes out, back to bed he turns off the light. The next day many people die. The man that used the restroom then kills himself, for he caused the deaths. How did he do this.
