When are us women ever late rolleyes. Sorry that is not the correct answer, when I said she dropped him of for the 7:30am train, he did get that train.

Hmm... maybe he was the one who bombed the train?  Or there was more than one train which fit the description "7:30 am train from Birmingham to London", and he wasn't on the one that got bombed?

Mina her husband did not bomb the train and there was only one train going from Birmingham to London at 7:30.

Alassiel, I did say it was later that day she saw the incident on the news.

Alysse, even if there were no fatalities I think you would still be quite worried if your husband was on the train.

Alassiel's and Alysse's guesses sound good but it seems a bit of a stretch she didn't panic if the bomb was acvtual in the train of her husband. Why was she watching "a TV program", why does it not say the news? Also "had been bombed" could mean it happen sometime in the past. Did she watch a documentary about some past event as Alassiel suggested?

ups. Still the answer would make sense within the bounds of the wording. ;)

Miraran, her husband was not a reporter because he was on a train.

Rakshiri, you know when you are watching TV and when there is some important news they will interupt a program to report it, that is what happened you are actually close about it being in the past but you have not quite got it yet.

Tip: Think why I said she was watching a "TV program" rather than simply saying she was watching TV.

She was watching a movie that just happened to have a news report about a train bombing in it with the train being the same one as the one her husband took?

Could the "TV program" be interpreted as a "TV Guide" she was reading, and it said that there will be a program about a bombing that happened at some time in the past, say, she read about a documentary on that incident?

I think I have a language barrier about the meaning of "TV program". Was she watching a TV program on tape which she recorded in the past and which had the news report cut in?
