Looks fine with me as well - didn't mind the shadows though, they were just fine from my point of view.

 think they're gorgeous!

Yay Wison!

Yay Dru!

Yay snow!

Er, actually, cancel that last.
No snow, please, no snow....
Oh wait.  I live in Korea now, not Canada.  WE won't be getting snow before Halloween... (smirk smirk)

(heaves sigh of relief)

Um, did I mention how nice the shadows on the mountains look?  And the great texture on the wison in front?
Great picture, and certainly ready for Art to frame and hang on the next update.... bravo again, Drucilla!

Well done, Dru!  I love especially the two big wisons in the foreground, their face, their look.

I don't say, put more work in this pic, it#s fine!  But I wanted to address some minor things which might help the next time, perhaps it is my screen...

When I look at your pic, I cannot really appreciate the work you did with the background, especially the foreground. Either i see it well, but then the wisons are quite pitch dark, or I don't see it. I had to download it and play with brightness and saturation to actually find all the details, the shadows and the snowheaps Judy was talking of. I can't say, how you could do this, lessen the sharpness of the wisons in the landscape. They have a different colour (more blueish) than the mountains, but I don't think, this is the problem. Maybe you are in the mood to play around with the wison-layer and the background changing colours and other features. I had one very "interesting" combination where even some green was mixed in, but didn't save it and it was lost. Not that green would fit ;).

You are improving a lot, Dru. I need to do some art as well again :)

I know what you mean, Talia, because it looks very different on different monitors - but that's always a problem with digital art (especially high-contrast)...   sometimes when I have a picture looking just right on my screen at home it looks terrible at work: under- or over-exposed, flat blacks instead of rich blacks, too blurred or too sharp... it's frustrating!

I honestly like snow myself...though I am the person who can (and has on multiple occasions) go out side in shorts and a T-Shirt and play tackle football with a foot or two of snow on the ground.

As for the Wison picture, I think that it is a very good picture.  I especially like the snowy mountains that you have in the background and the sky looks perfect.  I can just imagine myself looking out my bedroom window and gazing upon such a scene.

                                           SAVE THE WISON

                                       STOP GLOBAL WARMING

(or is it disk warming?...he he)

Put some final touches, neating up and such. Art if you want a big one like last time let me know. I can just replace this one with it. Or if there's anything else that needs done. Thanks everybody. :D

To get back on subject, today was our first fall day. Cool and rainy, but the hills, they're just gorgeous, absolutely vibrant.

Yep, this looks great, Drucilla, shadows and tracks also are very fitting! I'm looking forward to integrating this one :) - Of course having the largest possible version is always best, so that I can crop it where I need it when needed. So either post that version here or send it to webmaster@santharia.com - thanks in advance! grin
