With regard to the gulf of water between the Tarshiinite Coasts and the 'Mist' territory:

Previous discussions and the suggestive lead me to believe that this body of water would be populated by an as of yet undefined group of Nybelmer. Since I am trying to work out how the Tarshiinites 'fit in' with the political landscape of the region, these neighbours (having the expanses of the sea as their domain) would obviously be relatively significant in this respect.

I was wondering if anything had been defined in this respect or whether it was time for me (well- 'us') to start brainstorming who inhabits the Tarshiinite waters, starting from scratch?

Not quite correct :)

- No "new" sub-tribe lives there but Nybelmer do visit the area - to and fro their migration to the Inner Sea. (this will make more sense when the Nybelmar overview is up)

- "Conchfolk" meant to be a new sea-dwelling race. Fish + human = merfolk; conch + ?? (human?) = conchfolk

ie I just thought it would be cool to have an underwater empire of gigantic conches... Don't really know what they look like or do yet..

Nybelmer cán travel that route, yes,m but rarely do so. they claim the inner sea water makes you stupid, and use the stale mer as an example.

And Coren, that made me think of hermit crabs.
