Yep this is truly the crappiest recording in the history of mankind, but whatever... lol

Mr herbologists specifications were that the Ter'ei'Vikh only had flutes...So Petros quickly had to learn it... XD

But i couldnt resist adding my beloved harp! ^_^

P.s this is just a little snippet...there is more buzzing and crackling to come!!! XD

P.P.s Can anyone recomend a better recording program ?_?

I'm not sure if you got all the notes right, Petros, as there are some passages that sound a bit off. But the idea in general is great, only the recording (as usual) stays the main problem. Let's hope you can improve that somewhat!

Which reminds me: We have put up a little harp thing recently on the Forums with very good quality, haven't we? I don't remember exactly, but is this supposed to be another harp than the Pedalos harp (as I saved it under "Aellenrhim harp"). Can it be added to the Pedalos entry? And: How did you achieve such a good quality there? Maybe you can repeat that with this piece as well?

Petros darlin, although I do very little sound work myself. I have heard great things about soundforge. If I am not mistaken it is a free program as well, I kinda like the word free.  ;)

$_$

Petros Will check it out!!! ^_^ Thanks Twen..

Oops, ill check them out Artimidor! ^_^  hmmm...Its written in 11/4 so it has to be played with a bit of a limp, is the problem when there are a few clashes??

I can record another for the Pedalos harp if you wish! XD
But the reasno that was such good quality was becuase it was just a single recording, mean while for this one i had to play one part record it, open another window play the first part on the speakers and the second part on my flute...So that should contribute to the badness.. XD

Well, ideally we should have perfect versions to upload, be it regarding recording or melody quality :)

Is that harp piece now already valid for the Pedalos? This sounds just fine to me in all respects. Or you can play another longer piece if you want :)

Hmmm... As for recording two instruments: Haven't you mentioned a sister that plays the harp or something? Or is there no other way as to play both instruments via a double recording?

*huggles Petros* You DID remember!

Actually (i cant open the file in this format on this pc, will try again tomorrow) Mr. Herbalist specified that the "Vikh only used percussion, and filled the roles of all melodic instruments by voice.. but that a Sarvonian musician could replace the voices with flutes etc.

;)

Needless to say i'm now terribly excited to find out what it sounds like!

If you have winamp you should be able to open the file.

As for programs, I myself come across a program called Ableton Live.  Very nice program so far with what I have learned of it.

WinAmp alone won't help - you need a codec that is able to play m4a files, suggest to search for a free download of that codec on the net!
