Well, these pieces are more ambience musics for the game, Wren, but we sure will find ways to get your voice into Santhworld as well :)

Oooh, sorry, Wren!  I personally find losing my voice one of the most frustrating parts about being ill...  hope you get it back soon!

Hmm, how could we integrate a songbird into Santhworld?  Art, I have an idea.  I'll PM you so as not to spoil any surprises for players.... (evil grin)

Well, it's been a while hasnt it? But here we are.  And after all that I'll have to show for it is a little work in progress.

It was intended to be a battle track for Santhworld.

Sounds pretty cool, Macar! You get an aura point from me for that! thumbup  Seems your last appearance was before we introduce aura points, though. But I'm happy to see you around again!

As it's still not entirely finished, two things perhaps I'd suggest: For one it should be possible to play it in a loop, so the music shouldn't abruptly stop. Here and there maybe you could also give it some more edge of more imminent danger, slightly more action packed as in the second half? If you listen to the battle music we have right now it's more aggressive. But other than that I think it will fit Santhworld battles nicely.

Guess I can tell Grinch already to make it possible in the program that we can play different battle musics and that the program selects one randomly when a battle occurs. :D

Speaking about battles: I have an idea for a battle centered Santhworld module, something like the "Arena" in Obliviosn. The player has to fight through rounds, can select/buy different weapons/armours in the next rounds, and the challenge constantly increases. Should be possible to realize and we might be able to use some scenery and monster pics, also of more dangerous beasts (swamp wyrm), or even mythical ones, Taurians and stuff. :)

aura points? Cool, do I keep my own tally?  Or are they more like the points on "who's line is it anyway?" :D

I can make it loopable- that will be a new thing for me.  As for your comments- do you mean that the rest of it should have more of the first half's feel or the second?  If you'd like I could make it more homogenously threatening.  Actualy I'm used to writing combat music more like the second half forgames.  But I figured that the tone of the first half better fits the more methodical feel of turn based combat- But I'm flexilbe.

The arena idea sounds like fun though.  Sounds like a game that I'd play on addicting games or something like that.  I liked the uninvited module btw- I thought that it was very effective, particularly in the sound department.  Though for the record I totaly guessed the ending early on  azn

Aura: Can be awarded by anyone with posts >100, so you're getting there. You can give them to anyone for anything you like, if you like a contribution, if someone helped your with comments, or if someone's just a great guy :)

Concerning the piece: Well, I think that the fact that the combat scenes are round based makes it even more necessary that the music generates the sentiment that there's threat etc. That's why I think that the music we have at the moment is quite effective in that respect. You know immediately that there's some action going on that requires your attention. So I'm more in the second half department with my thinking. ;(
