The people in this list all 'exist' in Caelereth: that is, they have all been referenced in accepted Compendium entries at least once.    This list hopes to provide an easy way to cross-reference, quote, and develop those existing people - if you are writing an entry on a new plant for Northern Sarvonia, rather than create yet another fictional botanist, you can now look over this list and choose to credit Eleanna Kalrinwenens (see below).  Eventually perhaps someone - newcomer or old member - will be inspired to create the Person Entry for that individual and add yet another layer of realism.....    All currently known information about them is included, such as it is: gender, race, occupation, and approximate dates - everything else can be created and added!

Use, research, and enjoy!

Great list, Bard!  A much needed resource for us!

You missed Brean Helora and Aescula Onguentus, respectively a female human  (farmer stock) and female gnome alchemist, who are referenced in both the Red Lysh Pike entry and the Makaka ape entry as the proprietors of a new but very popular cosmetics, perfumes, and beauty shop in New Santhala, called Red Lysh Lovescents.  I'm pretty sure that incorporates all the information known about them to date.

And BTW, you have a couple of references to Anonymous--now that might be rather a challenging entry to write. :P

I wonder how you compiled such a list, Judy... - Must have been a lot of work! shocked

Anway, this is great to have, especially with the mentionings when they approximately lived and what profession exactly they are supposed to have. Though this list of course will never be complete and might contain names that need to be changed due to new tribal nomenclature definitions etc. - But we should make this sticky for people who want to write People entries and are looking for an interesting guy... :D

Maybe we should stick it in the Resources thread, with the pictures, so it's easy to find?  And then people can reserve the ones they want to do, just like the pictures.

With this list, we've got enough specialists in so many different areas, we won't need to invent more.  I've actually got my eye on a couple of them, but I'll hold off on reserving them until I know I'll have time to do them.   And maybe I'll find some good pictures to go with, you never know...

Amazing!  This is just what I was looking for whilst writing the Brownie Wings Entry lol.  I have a few more to add too (distinct lack of Brownies...), all from that entry.

~ Drou Birchbark - female Llaohirr Brownie - contemporary - record holder for the longest sustained flight wearing Brownie Wings
~ Fjorek Rigvinn - contemporary - male Avennorian inventor who tried to adapt the Brownie Wings for human use (with disasterous concequences)
~ RrLLee'ou Greenbark - died within living memory - male Llaohirr inventor and historian who managed to bring the wings back into fashion with a new, more modern design.
~ Tee'n Brownbark - male Llaohirr Brownie - this centuary - some-time poet and traveller who wrote poems in both Tharian and Browniin.

Thankyou Judy, I can see myself checking back here an awful lot in the future :).

Judy,

This is an interesting list, and a very cool idea!   thumbup

For everyone else:

I just want to add a little side-note for anyone thinking of writing up one of these people.  Even though there are not entries completed for these people, there is some information on some of them - it just takes a little searching.  So for anyone who intends to write a person entry - there is a place to start from in certain cases.  Commander Khizaar, for example, was started.  There is an Overview, Appearance and the beginnings of a History for the miserable sod.

Cheers!

Here are three people I mentioned in my Truphulll entry.

Veirek Gerrolv Snorring  -  wealthy gaming house owner from Marcogg, with an unhealthy appetite for fine cuisine.

Captain Morok Jaek of Ciosa  -  merchant seaman and keen amateur herbologist

Un-named individual who discovered the benefits and uses of Truphull oil.

I don't know if these are any use, but I thought it only polite to offer them.
Perhaps we should request that if anyone creates a new person in one of their entries, then they should come here and leave details for inclusion?

Hmmmm - what we need here is a Resource Forum where members have edit rights, so that anyone can create the Collector threads but people can add directly to the first post for each subject.

I'll have to keep checking this post and collating the various additions - it would be nice if they could simply go straight into the list.   There are a lot of other Team projects and Team resources that would also benefit, but I don't know if Art can create such an ability wholesale or if he'd have to add people individually and manually...

Ah well, just an idea!   Keep posting here, people, if you've got a  new individual of note, and for now I'll keep updating the list from time to time!

Could I develop on Hurika Ashan, the rainforest researcher? He would be useful for the discoverer of the plant I am designing ;)

Is this list still being updated? I found a Brownie researcher named Redbark in the Blue Drake entry. I thought he would make a fun entry.

EDIT - Two more researchers in the Falserock Lizard entry: The two most renown researchers of these beasts are Aini Siuu, a Shendar guide known for her excellent knowledge of all paths through the southern Ráhaz-Dáth and Lutius Strongleg, a Helcrani nobleman who is an expert for drakes.

Actually he's called Redleaf ;).  Also, I don't know what tribe he would be, as no Brownies live along or any where near the eastern coast which is home to the Blue Drakes.  At least none whose position has been recorded in the Compedium so far.  When I saw that entry I thought it might be an ideal excuse to make a Sarvonian Auhu'o tribe who lived in holes in the cliffs.  Possibly all bluebarks.  But then I remembered all the other stuff I already agreed to develop darn it.  Plus I'm not sure how people would react to me inserting a load of Brownies into the food chain.  *shrugs*

Yeah, so Redleaf should probably only be taken on by someone who is willing to address these issues.  Doesn't need to be an expert though, just an enthusiatic type.
