I have an idea for a new race if possible. They are a combination of Psyerpents and Elves. If this would be possible, could someone let me know? Also, message me with any causes for concern or puzzlements. Thank you.

Sucks to be you, man. Sounds like something I'd like to see. I'm not one hundred percent certain that races are banned. I think if you prove yourself a worthy developer, you may get to see your idea come to fruition. Again, I'm not one hundred percent sure so don't quote me.

You're slightly right. Newbies don't get to do new races, nor the groundwork for them.
Its the same with apprentices.

But if a Member would come up with a thoroughly thought-through, integrated, viable idea for a new race, it might, and do note the word "might", be added to the world.

But don't count on it. ;)

I think, races are truly banned, because we have enough and no more room for another one*. Remember the uproar when I did the rivermaids - and I did not think they were a new race, but just a variation of the mermaids. (So, even old members are not allowed to do one)

The only new race which was considered quite some time ago was the flying race far in the south of Aeruillin, but I doubt, that there will be a lot of work down there in the next time. And Artemis is not seen often anyway, and they are her baby..


*Of course there are other reasons as well. It is quite impossible to add them now into the already existing network of relations, add them to the history. The Ulvur were banned to the farthest northeast to avoid such problems. It does not have to be a new race, there are a lot of other equally interesting things to develop.

Right. Agreeing with Talia, the only chance of new races coming to fruitation iwould be opening up other contenints, and that wont happen for quite some time, its been agreed.
