Got a week off now, so I'll see to catch up with some things I've promised to do:

- Judy's Colour Cabinet in Flash
- A zoomable Manthrian map crop for Smee's Simsy entry
- Nsiki's Lorehold additions
- Entry on the Pit of Orcenroth in the Mithral
- Get some more books opened in the Library while I have the time
- Integrate Mannix gnomes quiz

That's already quite a bit, I hope I can manage most of them :)

Arti, look out of your window. It's a lovely day, so put down your quill and at least take a walk in the fresh air for an hour or two.

Art, sorry for not RSVPing sooner to your email.    However you want to integrate the parchments, colours, text, etc. is fine by me - you're the Flash expert.  Could you perhaps just show me with a quick Paint sketch what you are looking for?  Just a 'floating' blob of colour?  I really don't think the little curly scroll shape is appropriate as a background - too distracting - but I could create something a bit simpler if you can give me the size you need.

It will take some work to redo everything, so perhaps you'd better take it off your list for this Easter.  It looks like you'll have plenty to keep you busy as it is!  Oh, and how about a) listening to Tharoc and getting some fresh air and b) writing something just for yourself and for fun?

Hugs,
the Bard

Well, at the moment I have it that way (see attached picture, size reduced). Whatever picture we use to display the blob - with a background parchment, something else or without any - it should be a picture with the measurements of 72x80 pixels. This is the current size I use, a drop shadow as you can see is also already applied, so the scroll itself actually is a little smaller.

So you could take that screenshot and see what you could put best into that area. Could also be a larger version of the flask for example if we have it in appropriate size, then we could add a drop shadow as well. Just play around with it, and if you're satisfied with something, send me some first examples, so that I can integrate them before I do 50 more :)

BTW: I have the texts at any rate, so if you could send me the order of the bottles, which bottle goes with which colour name (I wouldn't leave that to a somewhat colourblind person), then I can already work on the basic scheme while you're still deciding what pictures to use. As this all takes some time, I have to see to get most of it pretty much done within my vacations.

Arti, honey, did you take Tharoc's advise? Vienna isn't that far from Prague that the weather will be so much different, and it really is lovely out ;)

Don't worry, I'll be outside for a while this week - lots of manual work in our woods planned in the next days :)

Hello Arti! If you are at all pressed for time, please do not worry about my library stuff. I am in no hurry! And, due to RL issues, I can espy no more chapters on the horizon ;)

Art, being the master of Santharia is a full-time job... but surely you can find sometime to walk in its beautiful forests or wander within the beautiful towns instead of tending to the problems. Some roofs need fixing now and then, more paintwork can be done but hey, take a break and smell the breeze.

I hear Austria is beautiful  ;)
Are you going to enjoy it? Ok I see "manual work" - Heh... more work. Don't you ever rest?

A note for you Art: The title (up in the top of the window and on tabs) says ***Places Template (change this text!)***. Did you forget something or is it just my browser doing that?

That's just your browser. Really. Browser do that. Honestly. Bad, bad browser! You should have a word with him!

Erm... Let's say I just fixed it, cause that damned browser can't do anything by itself. grin

Niki's Lorehold additions are also now implemented - somewhat adjusted, e.g. so that the rooms aren't too close together, and one text still needs to be changed (when you take the bucket), but it's all operative now :)

Check it out in the Lorehold - go to the courtyard, the fountain and then east to the stables. There are a bunch more rooms there, and of course Nsiki  cool - Nice stuff, Nsiki! Oh, and of course we've got Gean's music there as well. Check it out!
