Hey i'm new

Hey i'm new and i was told to introduce myself. So here i am. I'm a artist and a writer, i enjoy singing sometimes but mostly writing and doing my own illistrations.

Hi Dante, nice to meet you, though i think we've already met on the other side. you might remember Fionn? or even Keraste? grin

anyway, welcome to the dev forum! if you write and illustrate then you may never be allowed to escape, so put your feet up and have some cookies while you still have the spare time.
usually we ask new contributors to pick something fairly simple to start with - for example, in the bestiary forum you can find a list of entries that need doing, helpfully colour coded for easiness and availability. have a look round and see what interests you.

Hullo Dante! Jenna, a hobbit and Avenorrian enthusiast here.
I'm new myself, but still my advice is browse the site, build up some basic santharian knowledge and start getting creative when the mood so takes you. Oh, and stay away from the greenhouse.

Welcome welcome Dante. Very nice to see that you are excited to contribute. The others are implying that you have been active on the Role Playing side of the website. Is that true or are they mistaken?

Anyhow, let me introduce myself. I am Seeker. I generally wander all over these lands seeking out old magic and power. I chronicle my adventures through paintings and send them to the compendium. So my main contribution here is artwork.

The compendium masters are very particular as to the quality of work that gets accepted. They usually prefer you start off developing something simple so you can display your writing or artisitc abilities. As you get used to how the development board works you will get "permission" to develop more important, complex and difficult subjects. If you really catch on and are able to develop some good stuff you may be invited to develop a masterwork and then be accepted as a member. As you can see we are all attended a party for Seth Ghibta who was just recently accepted into membership.

So good luck, I see you are already making some suggestions regarding a cool cat. The easiest thing would be of you made some suggestions for your first entry here in this forum. Once you get the go ahead from some of the more senior developers, then go for it. Regarding the cat make sure you look at the The Lingra as it is similar to what you are describing.

Oh and our apologies, you will need to be patient, seems many folks are out on something called vacation, comments are few and far between this past couple of weeks.
