See attachment below  ;)

This took longer than I anticipated and it got very late, so the quality of my edits may have deteriorated towards the end. I hope I still made sense by the time I got to Comment #24  buck

Great entry Rayne! More of your musings on the arcane, please!

Oh, I forgot to say: Let's park Discussion Point 2 until the ximax entry is done - and then open a new thread to get that issue sorted. I admit I am rather hazy on this whole xeua/ecua business. I may have to go away, turn around in a few circles contemplating the nature of existence, and produce another of my 'brief expositions'.  buck

Reminded of this entry, I have finally gone through and made changes.

I took some of your changes, but not all of them. You were right to advise shortening the overview and bringing the explanation of meta-states up. That makes things significantly clearer. I would, however, like to keep the notion of xeuan and ecuan meta-states. The more I think about it, the more these terms convey what it is the links represent. "Transient" works as a good word to describe ecuan meta-states, but resilient seems strange to me. I think its the connotation.

I took some of the sections you offered, but not all of them. I felt that some of them made the entry too choppy, and made it appear disjointed and disorganized. I condensed some of them.

As far as point 19, concerning procedure, I would rather keep it a two-part process. I have try to tailor my explanation so that hopefully it sounds more apparent to you that the environmental changes are an optional component of altering car'all.

Because of the nature of the changes, I haven't colored anything. I just replaced it all (the changes were really too complex to color properly).

In any case, let me know what you think about the changes.

No, I would not want to live in a world without dragons, as I would not want to live in a world without magic, for that is a world without mystery, and that is a world without faith. And that, I fear, for any reasoning, conscious being, would be the cruelest trick of all.

* Temporarily crossing between dimensions *

Hi! I have no objections; I think this entry can go up. Rayne & I still don't see eye to eye on how certain parts should be structured, but ultimately that is a stylistic choice for the author :) The content is great - marvellous job Rayne! Hope to see you around again soon :D
