I've done two little sketches.

Questions:

What looks nicer?

Ximax_Tower_45.jpg

There the Xeua tower looks exactly towards NE

Ximax_Tower_30.jpg

There the Xeuatower looks more NNE.

Rayne's description would work more or less with both sketches.

Relative Sizes!

Is it ok, this way?

The tower itself has 60 peds, the shielddome 75 peds in diameter and the "Towergardens" 100 peds in diameter. ---> There would be 40 peds between each tower, a bit less towards the shielddome.
Note, that if have less distance between the towers, the shielddome gets smaller.

I like the 30 one a bit more, I think, though I'm not particular. I think the relative sizes look find, and the balance between the shield dome diameter and the towers' diameters look perfect.

Any other thoughts?

Just curious about the role of the hexagons in the diagrams.

Are they simply there to keep the towers in place, or do they have a part to play in our actual physical representation of the Magical Academy.

I like the number 30 one better as well.

The 30 looks more....sophisticated and planned than the 45. Though, my thoughts are similar to Rayne as there isn't much of a preference on my part other than how it is perceived in this degree. Looking from the top down isn't something many are going to do, so it would more matter on what they looked like from the ground unless there was a particular reason for them to be aligned in the pattern they are.
