*Shuffles awkwardly, rubbing neck. Finally he clears his throat.*

“I’m Agran Velion, and, I’m the new guy here. I consider myself a competent writer, though far from expert (despite me wanting to be a writer). I stumbled upon this website when surfing the magical web and…I fell in love with it. So many other like minded people, along with a massive fantasy world like Tolkien’s (This ‘new’ fantasy is getting on my nerves, where’s the detail?) I’ve been a Roleplayer for years, struggling with it on other games as we are always put down as ‘lol lozerz and nerds’ (such a weird language the natives of the web speak).

Anywho, I can’t wait to get started on trying to help out here! *Places more emphasis on trying* I love fantasy with a passion, and I hope my meager contributions can help. Who knows, maybe one day I can do major contribution…”

I haven't decided as of yet what to focus on. I'd really like to try my hand at different things, test the waters before I dive in. Everything seems so interesting, I think I'll have a nibble on a little bit of everything, and when I tasted em than I munch.

Hi Agran!

Most new folks start with developing a beast or plant. Those usually enable you to get some research skills and learn to integrate your idea into the world. Most everyone here started on a beast or herb entry (guilty!). Don't try to start anything very complicated yet. Like you said, nibble a little bit before diving in. There is alot of information here, and even I discover new stuff all the time.

I've got an idea for you to start with, Agran, if you want.

Here is a little plant I planned to write, but perhaps you can do it. The entry right now is very short and needs more information. It already has a nice start for you with some references and links to read. A plant that grows on a volcano sounds interesting, yes?

Welcome Agran! *Seeker bows in greeting, however being careful not to take his eyes off the newcomer* I am Seeker. As far as your concerned I am a simple mage of an unknown quantity of power that should not be trifled with. With time you will learn more of me. For now we will learn more of you and your interests.

If a plant does not stir your imagination feel free to pick one of the more simpler weapons from this list. These are good for newbies to sharpen their blades on.

Hi, I'm Dek,

Still a kid, but accepted. I like nothing more than travelling around Caelereth finding out new and wondrous things, plants, animals, weapons, games, crowns, places, people ... all are of interest to me. Although I'm not Kyranian myself, I'm quite taken by them, and have done a few things that are Kyranian related.

I've recently spent some time around Ximax, exploring the Academy there, and am now heading out into the outer city there, before heading up north to Eight Winds Bay for a while.

Hope you have fun developing entries and find a niche for yourself here in the dream.
