Because I don't know a good place where this would fit I decided to put it here for the moment.

I will first explain Soundmancy. It is simply a magic that revolves around ones voice or a musical instrument. The effects that this produce is rarely physical and is more mental and spiritual. For example, there is making someone fall asleep, Hypnosis and Illusion, and calming ones soul.


Resonate Flow
This is something that is related, but completely different in its use.
The main thing behind this martial art is the use of sound and sound waves to disorient and damage the enemy physically. (Used mainly by a group of Assassins. More on them when I get everything worked out)
An example of this would be to concentrate the sound vibrations around someone and use it to shatter objects from afar. Or to get more close and personal, one could use it to affect the inner ear making the victim unbalanced.

These are the ideas I have. Aside from Origin, ask me any questions you have about it and also give me advice so I may improve it.

I understand absolutely nothing about magic in these lands, but I think this sounds like a fascinating idea.

Hi Shin! Welcome to Santharia.  :D

Take a look at this old thread. Perhaps Kalina can offer some ideas. My first suggestion is find a tribe or area where this kind of magic is prevalent. Attach it to a tribe/group in order to better flesh it out with a culture.
