Description: The Remusian bow is a composite recurve bow that sands about 1 ped, 1 fore, 1 palmspan, and 9 nailsbreadths tall.  It is made from specially picked allicot wood and interspersed with a layer of wison tendon and thin strips of carteloreen bone.
Usage: The Remusian bow, as the name suggests, is mainly used by Remusians.  The bow has found itself in the hands of some of the members of the other ice tribes and even a few foreigners, but the Remusians remain the only people capable of producing it.  The Remusian bow is used mainly in battle because the loud noise it makes after it releases an arrow makes hunting rather difficult if you miss, but a few have still been known to hunt with it, relying on its long range.
Advantages:
-The Remusian bow is extremely long ranged, allowing the user to hit targets that would normally be out of reach to another bow.  It also projects the arrow at extremely fast speeds, allowing it to puncture through armor with ease.
Disadvanteges:
-It takes an immense amount of arm strength to pull the bowstring back, even more so than a regular bow.
-The Remusian bow has a confusing shape when it is unstrung, and many who are not experienced with stringing it usually string it backward, causing it to snap when it is used.
Fighting Style: The Remusian bow is a long ranged weapon that is mainly used in battle.  Those who prefer stealth generally try and avoid it due to the loud noise it makes when it is released.  It is usually used when the enemy is far away or obstructed by an obstacle.  However, the bow is strong enough and heavy enough to knock someone out if wielded as a club, but that is generally discouraged as it  can damage the bow.
Origin/History:
The Remusian bow was constructed by the Remusians and is still used by them to

Here is my rough draft for the Remusian bow.  I'm not going to mess around with its origin/history much yet and please remember that this is a work in progress.  Comments are welcome right now but I'm still playing around with it a bit.

If it's not finished, don't put up that exclamation mark.

Two things I can see right now:
A bow does not have to make a loud noise. Having done a bit of archery myself, there are three noises you'll hear. The bow string release (which is not that loud. It does not "twang" like a guitar string unless you're doing something wrong). The arrow moving through the air, and the lovely "thud" it makes when it hits a soft target.

Second: Advantages/Disadvantages is not a section. The section is technically called "fighting style" and encompasses more than just those two points. Don't use lists, write it as prose.

First half of this sentence is correct.  Second half, not so much.  When I was a kid, I inherited my father's bow, and it was a recurve bow.  We strung it backwards and used it that way for years.  First, because we didn't know better, but after, because trying to string it right was next to impossible.

You would lose much of the force, thus less range and less force when penetrating, but it would still be very difficult to break.

Shati, are you still planning on working on this? If you aren't it would be nice to remove your claim to the entry and we could put it back "on the market", so to speak.
