Hi Seeker,

One of the two demons who appear at the beginning of the fight explodes when killed, dealing deadly damage. Do not waste attacks on that one.

Concentrate on attacking the Lich Queen. When her health gets low, she will retreat and lurk at a distance, ready to jump at you as soon as you are weak. When she retreats, try to keep your own health up to avoid her re-joining battle for as long as you can. [Corrected - this doesn't apply; see the posts below. Sorry!]

I hope this helps! Arti may have more detailed tips, but I cannot now remember other specifics of the battle.

Hi Seeker!

Does she, Shaba?? I remember ...  don't know anymore! But generally Seeker:  Await the unexpected (or how does this phrase go?) . You think you never manage it, and then suddenly you have won, because sometimes the unexpected really happens. I thought during every major fight - this fight is impossible to win - and I died several times - but suddenly it was accomplished!

Hi Seeker!
Shabakuk is right on the first tip. Try to avoid the Chasm Demon as it will explode and deal deadly damage. Watch the other henchmen of her. They are able to fill up their masters health so maybe it is advised to have a word with them first.

The Lich Queen will not back up, I think Shab mixed that up with another fight.

At some point, when she is low on health, she will become angry and start to summon another demon that gives her special powers. Try to break that connection as soon as possible to bring her back into her weak state again.

Try to keep your health up at the end even if you thing you have the upper hand. She slept too long just to be put to sleep again.

Oops, sorry - I confused two different fights in my memory. I crossed out the advice that doesn't apply to this fight. I'm only glad I remembered one thing correctly, at least!

Addition to Seeker:

Side note on the Lich Queen fight: Her "soul-linked" demon friend is actually explained (with the very same picture as is used in the fight!) in one of the books you find in the Library near the red imp. So if you've read that you can connect the dots much easier...

Stuck again:

So i am in the tower of death.  I am not understanding the puzzle here.  To me this is just a circular room.  What am I missing.  I don't understand what is supposed to be happening when the room goes dark, I am assuming that is part of the puzzle. ( I like that)

The Tower of Death is probably the most difficult puzzle in the game. It's not impossible to solve it, though... There are several ways to find out where you are exactly. - Some hints:

- Look at the name of the location
- Something is different after it briefly turns dark
- Try drawing a map, that's really the best thing you can do!
- Change directions as you walk around and you might end up... elsewhere
- Have you found pebbles yet? Someone used them for marking something.
- There's a lever... Use it and listen carefully!

I am stuck, score 2935 ... same place as earlier ... with the cauldron etc ...

I am still in those catacombs, with the cauldron. I am gathering I need to gain some Demon Ashes ... and I am guessing that demon is in the crypt i can't get into. I previously used the scroll of demagification on the place behind which the crowbar is. I'm wondering about trying to use the scroll of demagification on that crypt I can't get to ... as Im wondering whether the ashes I need are in there. But on the other hand, there is always a chance I've missed a fight or a location or something. Any help from anyone would be appreciated. Thank you.
