It's me again  :P

I'm trying to teach myself the basics of orchestration and how to think with multiple instruments. So, I've taken the theme from No5 and wrote something for a woodwind quartet.

Let me know what you think!

By the way, any suggestions as to how this could be used on the site? Any entries this might 'illustrate'?

Now all I need to do is to come up with the trio section  shocked

heart I am a lover of woodwinds, as I played several myself back in the day. This was absolutely terrific!

Works well with the woodwinds, I say - I like it even better than as a piano solo. And it's more easily integratable into Santharia, too, I think. Well done, Coren!

Like Kalina, I am a lover of wooodwind instruments, because I also played the clarinet for a long time ... that reminds me, I haven't played it for a while now, which is a shame.

Like Master Anfang, I think it would work in Santharia somewhere as a back ground piece ... I sort of feel it could work as a piece as background to a river/settlement along a river somewhere ... a gentle brook, with fishers plying their trade, perhaps ... it has a gentle, calm feel about it.
