And we've got another brand new external Santharian artist to present, BKiani, our very first contributor from Iran. :) You can check out his pictures here - some beautiful moody pictures there, apparently some initially intended for his very own Pen & Paper RPG, so if they don't fit directly in entries they might be ideal to fit into a Santhworld adventure or two :)

Suggestions on where to place the one or the other picture are welcome!  thumbup

Very nice, though some are very speedy - I need to learn that also, always those 100h+ pics which are coming to no end...  evil

Sun light, the watercolour one might fit for the Himiko Islands part for the upcoming Icelands entry.

Ooo Hello Stranger... might be wonderful for a future Brownie entry that's in the works. Of course, it's not even on site, so if someone else finds a nice place for it, I wouldn't be opposed at all. :)

There are indeed quite a bunch of snow landscapes for example, which might be of use in the Ice Tribes entry somewhere. After all we have tribes, but we don't show the environment that much on pictures - so why not use one of these pictures? :) Candidates aside from Talia's mentioned one: 15-8-91, Sun set or Prison in Frozen Sea. Maybe the building in the latter picture doesn't fit to an idea, but the picture could also work when we crop it to show just the strange ice formations, which could be specific to a certain place.

Most of those pictures don't fit to the landscape we envisioned there. There are no brown rocks protruding the ice. Nor huge mountains at all. The Himiko mountains are high but mostly white. As Altario said, they fit probably more to the Tandalas or any of the other Northern Sarvonia mountains.

I would not incorporate those strange iceformations either (frozen sea), if there is not an entry describing them or a part of an entry mentioning them. Maybe we can invent something, but that building is so far away from the wilderness the icelands are, that it would be hard to think of something.

 And  - I would ask the artist first, if cropping the building out would be alright. I mean, he had a vision and he might consider his picture as art. Violating it by taking just a quarter of it might not be what he is comfortable with.

General note: There are a few pics you might miss in BKiani's gallery, which are hiding under the "Galleries Folders" to the left of the gallery, e.g. "Speedies", among them some really nice ones as well, like "Sp 10/1/13" or "Mountain Pass" with a nice bridge. There are also two items in the "Items" folder, which could use another background, though.

Anyway, I'd like to get at least one picture up for each new artist to be able to upload the team page, so we'd need something from BKiani still. So suggestions are very much welcome!

"Demonic Portal" for example could be used at the main demon entry or a specific demon entry, even better: at the Demonology Rituals and Rites entry. So yeah, that would be a nice option.

I looked through our gorges and caves. Exit might fit somewhere, but  13-8-91 is too bright .

Maybe http://bkiani.deviantart.com/art/Sun-set-309287121 would fit to

I like the path of "Good Morning" as a possible trade route, since it's a well kept path yet there are no buildings nearby. Can this be the Heath of Jernais? Perhaps showing the Milkengrad-Carmalad trade route through the heath, continuing with similar small forests or groves as in the nearby Aurora plains?

Yup, why not? While we already have a picture at the City of Jernais (and unfortunately no entry for the Heath) we could use another one there. This one shows more from the heath, while the current one shows herons and the High Fores to the east. So yup, I'd go for that. Thanks for the suggestion.

On another note: I looked for an entry where a crypt might fit, and it might fit best in the Mourning, Dirges and Chants page where we collect all kinds of songs and poems in this regard.
