Hello Talia! I posted this request here before but I think it got deleted when you cleaned the thread :)    Are you still interested in providing me a map for "the Zhunite Project: Part 1 / Newcomers start here" thread at the Nybelmar board?

Yes, just mail me what exactly you want to have!

That's the problem, I don't know what you had in mind :o  Also, I don't think I can cut out sections from the bigger map :o  :o

I've been trying to make a new picture of the Academy layout for a few days.  Anyway, I came up with a new design for the outer walls, and I was wondering if you were okay with it.

I saw this in one of your comments at the RPG Board, concerning the Shendar:
Quote
there is no word for father and so "parents "
I can understand if the Shendar doesn't have a native 'father' concept, and thus their language might not originally have a word for it.  However, they must have encountered this concept when they met other tribes, so surely they have developed a way to express such a concept since then?  Otherwise they would not be able to say things like "the Santhran's father", for example.  Perhaps they borrowed a word from the Stratanians or some other nearby tribe, or constructed a new term for it (eg. the 'mother-man' example you used in the comment)?

@Mina:

Well, I have not decided how much the Shendar dialect has developed away from the original Darian, how much they took from the Lost people,so it is difficult to say what is a foreign word. I think they would use "father" as such a foreign word, but only the more educated ones. It will be a strange idea for every Shendar child who discovers the concept for the first time. It would be wrong to use it in the case of the RPG char, for it is a Shendar woman who speaks.

Hello, Talia. :)

If you are not too sick lately, could you give my Appearance section a look through for the Remusian Men rewrite?  Hope to hear from you soon.

Hi Talia,

I would love to have your opinion on my Serphelorian Tribe.  I have always appreciated your keen eye for detail, and would be very pleased if you could find the time to look at this.

Thank you,

Grun.

*beep beep beep* Paging Talia, Paging Talia.

Sorry I know you say you are not commenting but this isn't really commenting...really... ok sort've. Hope you don't mind, but feel free to decline, I don't want to put you in an uncomfortable position. Anyway...

*Breathing Hard* Phew, that was close. I almost put a fish on the coast of the Rahaz-Dath without asking. :D I got so scared.... you should've seen me banging away on that keyboard. The details are In Here but the overview is this. Jun'era, territory originally extended down to Strata, and I wasn't sure if that made sense or if you actually even wanted a fish down there. This will involve a question on Stratanian diet. So, I'm going to invite another trip to the desert. Mhmm let's see how I do this time. Hehehe... :)

Just when you get a chance, would be great if you could throw some light on it.

Thanks!

Edit: I'll have a look! ;) T.

Then take me disappearin' through the smoke rings of my mind,
Down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves,
The haunted, frightened trees, out to the windy beach,
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow.
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free,
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands,
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves,
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.

Miss Talia,

Please peek at my revised Kaaer entries here and here.

Specifically, I'd like any input on the religious aspect, obviously.  :D

EDIT: I hope to be able to get to it tomorrow (when my little visitor will be gone), otherwise you have to wait till next week, for we are away till Tuesday night. But I will have a look! :) I might take it with me and work offline! (What a strange feeling!)

No need to call me Miss - or would you like to be addressed in this polite way as well ? ;) (One never knows!)

Talia,

I'd like to work on cleaning up the cosmology development guidelines. I'd like to add some entry proposals and revise the current ones. For example, the Wind Element myth is being worked on now. I'd like to add some possible North myth ideas and the nature spirits overview proposal I had.

I'm just looking to update the area a bit! Let me know what you think.  ;)

As I've heard that Azhira got your ok via PM on the Moderator rights and nobody else objected, I've just given those rights to her now as well. :) So all fine in this regard.
