I thought I would make a list of those things that anyone can work on to make it easier for other people to find and know what they can help with.

Polent- a rice suited to the harsh desert climates. See Nys and Hjoria entries for further details.

*Pops in* When this rice is made, can I use it for the Orcal kingdom in Nybelmar? they need desert plants to be their food. Can I? Can I? *jums up and down*

:lol  If they need desert plants then that's fine, I'm sure it could be added in there. If Nybelmar needs any cacti, just let me know about that as well and I can put that in my entry. Just head over to the cacti entry and pick some out!:D  Or if you have any ideas for other cacti please feel free to add or make suggestions!

Nor sure but does rice not tremendous amounts of water?. While Aeruliun might have very fertile soil around  the river they might be short on the water side. Don't know, I'm only confused because the existing rice was placed in Nybelmar because we didn't want it in Santharia and needed some place with much rain...

Just a question. :)

Well, yes normal rice does need water, but this rice is specially adapted to desert climates. Remember, imaginations can go a long way and not everything has to be possible in the real world. I was thinking that it probably gets a lot of it's nutrients from the minerals in the soil and collects what water it can when it rains. That and we can build canals and cultivate it.

Why call rice then? Does not sound like rice to me. ;)
Not criticizing, just asking.

Cause it looks like rice?... I really don't know, I didn't orignally come up with the idea. I think Artemis did, I just found it in her people entry and borrowed it for my Nys entry and now it kinda needs to be made.

Have to agree with Koldar there, Amuwen :)  I don't think it should be called rice if it's not really rice. Maybe should be described as with 'rice-like' properties?

Artemis? Since it's originally your entry, care to comment??

Hmm, I don't really know, isn't rice a grain or grass seed like others, just that it needs a lot of water? why just do a grain then? Aeruillin grain, differing from the santharian golden rain, with a stronger taste due to the mineral and because it has not this much moisture in it?Could be exported then as well, f.e. to Strata.Would be good for export, because it is light. Do two slightly differing varieties. F.e  a cultivated one around the towns which needs more water and a smaller, tastier one which is the original grain and is collected by the....and sold in the towns???Just an idea
