Ok, here for any kind of discussions about this forum and topics that need clarification, etc.

Any concrete topics or questions should go in an own thread.

I'm a bit lost between all these new threads. So, which part of history goes where? What do we put under the political landscape?

This thread:

-suggestions concerning forum layout
-general requests for discussion (e.g. when one sees a problem in something already on the site, etc)
-as thread starter
-I'll post corrections, changes, updates I did here and why.

Bellringing:
-calls for input on entries.

tribes&places:
-update requests for the map(new cities, etc.)

All other sticky threads generally serve as information network gathering links on created entries as well drafts of planned ones, as such there shouldn't be any discussion in there but I'll try to keep it in good shape and errors may be pointed out.

Any other thread deals with the subject in its header.

Forgive my slowness, but where should I post Krath history (4000bS), under the map or in the timeline?

For now I'd think that we should try to get the situation for each milestone more or less fixed(in undeveloped areas things can still change as well as when we decide certain events that would affect something in more detail). So can you wait for that just a little while longer, Coren?

I'll post the two following "milestones" asap. They'll need more discussion however, as I don't know what I forgot.

Hey Koldar, your nagging child is back!

I have two requests from you:

First things first: Can you please remove my first reply in this forum and replace it with your second post here, so one can see what each forum is for with a quick glance.

And: How about sweeping the Bell Ringing forum clean of the unnecessary posts (perhaps also move the discussion(s) that took place there elsewhere)? Time for some serious belated-spring cleaning again... So, once the forum is rid of the growing mess, each Nybelmar developer can make a single post and upgrade the state of their entries there: Work in progress / Finished, waiting comments / Question-Trouble regarding ... / Complete.

i know this is a lot of work, but it's nothing our High King and Knight can't manage.

Take care and have fun ;)

the bell ringing works fine now, you see, each time someone replies there once can see it's obvious growth => one can know that something new has been written...

Hey can we please start the trade routes thing Vic and I have been blistering our tongues about sometime in the near future?

Also:

Quote:
a timeline that shows which tribe was present during which age would be helpful for quick reference me thinks. Sort of like

10000-9000 b.S
a
b
c

9000-7000bS
a
d
e

was something I had suggested earlier on. I really find such a reference handy - perhaps including it under the first post in each of the political maps would be another idea. But definetely a full list that we can add to is needed, imho.

in the general drafts we have such a rough outline though it might contain errors by now because of changes done in history.

Smith, when should the Elven civil War take place, did I tell you or did we talk about that one some time ago? I don't quite remember. I figure somewhere around the fall of Korweyn this might be a good idea so the Kaýr cannot help the Korweynites in the slightest. I figure the civil war should last several centuries...

If I remember, we have reached the conclusion that the elven civil wars should happen during the Dark Age => so it is possible that they start during the last Murmillion campaign and continue long after that (centuries as you said).

Ah, yes. So somewhere 3300 b.S. to 2800 something. Thanks, that makes sense.
