And another great picture, Faugar! Great use of these "special effects"... Seems like the guy is violently converted to a daemon, eh? Maybe something for the War of the Chosen?

Damned, how will we ever integrate all those picture of our artists? We need more people working on these integration things, I can integrate only one per week myself maximum!

BTW: I also saw a new picture called "Mourning" on your gallery. You state that you only need 20 (!) minutes for such a pic. This is stunning cause it is also a very expressive work. I don't know if this would be possible, but if you're that fast with this technique maybe you could illustrate certain passages of longer stories (like at the Katya story) with more such pictures? Just an idea.

the deamon pic took me much longer - I stared it a couple of weeks ago, but didn't like the initial sketch, but did like the idea, so I started again. I reworked his body twice, and finally decided not to include legs, just fire. (he was originally pinned to a wall ;)  ).. anyway - about mourning - it's effect is mostly due to fabulous (faded)adobe filter "fresco" - and its just Black and White, so it couldn't take long. Use it anywhere if you like. And I think your idea is just great - it's always good to read a story with some illustrations. I think some B&W small pics would do it, right? I'll see if anything comes to mind when I will read more of the santharia stories - which I hope to do some more now, although I'll be buisy.. any suggestions welcome - all story writers :)

Any Katya illustrations from Faugar, when he's not too busy, will be breathlessly anticipated by from me :)  Your deamon pic is awesome. The second I laid eyes on it, I was drawn immediately to that gaping maw of a mouth he had, stretched open wide in anguish. Or is it triumph? Nice ambiguous effect, the deamon looks like he could either be the tormentor or tormented, extremely disturbing to say the least.....

I don't know *moan* The will is strong but the flesh is weak! I'll try! I'm starting on a new study (Classicism, History and the French Revolution!!) this week though so I should have a little time since I'm in between assignments. Keep your green webbed fingers crossed :)
