Was wondering if it is fine that I do Tarannoar and Milkengrad for the mud.  Working on Dialogue and will do maps as well

Have a question for maps though.  So the way I do a village is:

Description: put in desc.
North: what is in that diraction
Weast: "   "
East: "   "
South: "   "

And for a map of the insides of a building how is that done exactly?

Just to add as well.  If the above two places are not being done may you tell me one place that is free for me to do.  I wish to help out as much as possible with the MUD.  Just need guidance here and there when the time comes.

Gararion...

all the map is there for is to tie everything in together...i suggest drawing the map first and then doing the directions...you can do descriptions before or after if you like...

the map basically gives a bird's eye view of the area you are doing...i don't think it has to be anything fancy...just as long as things are setup in nice blocks so that you know where you go when you go north...

Ok, I've explained the basic things to Gararion on ICQ. In general that means: Take Judith's second Nepris map as a reference and draw such a map. Tarannorar is a good choice for now, as it is a small village, and we can build a small working community there.

Maps for the inside of houses can be done in a similar way, but although you only use one square for a room in the general map, you can build houses in the inside consisting of more than one room. Just try to keep the relations of the rooms inside the houses realistic.

OK, now that I'm back I'm working on Klinsor.  It will be a significant spot as it's the biggest city (only city?) in the Tolonian Waist, so travellers going from one end of the continent to the other will have to pass through it.  Apart from that it's not very picturesque (a whaling town and port city).

Picture and description to follow.

Regards from the Bard
