I have put the new server online.

As usual you can access it using the sorren mud client and connecting to mud.sorren.com.

Some of the new features added in this version of the server includes:

Commands:
listzones: command to list the zones.
listrooms: to list the rooms in the current zone.
listroomtypes: used to list the roomtypes available for builders to use in this zone
listchars: list users currently playing.
listchars <zonename>:  list characters in specified zone
where: list players in current zone
removeroomtype <roomtypeID>:  removes the specified roomtype from the list of available room types.
setroomTypeID <roomTypeID> sets the current room to use the specified roomtypeID.

Optimizations:
The rooms are now smarter then they are before because each room has a roomType.  

The room type contains the title and description amongst other added variables such as isWater, isOutside, isPublic.

So if a builder has a street that uses the same room title and description over and over again it doesn't use up more system resources, and it saves the developer time by being able to simply type setroomTypeID <roomtypeID> and having it load everything in automatically.

Login:
Server now uses an integrated login system with the sorren web game.  When I enable the game to be played by the open public they will be able to create their own characters right from their sorren accounts.

Very nice. Things I'm currently missing though:

- Go to a specified room by typing in a shortcut (e.g. jump directly to Nepris town fountain without having to cross the whole game)
- How do you set inside/outside flags etc.?
- It should be possible to turn on/off the viewing of the development flags/numbers, so that you can see them whenever you enter a room. Just everything of revelance should be visible for the developers.
- If you take a look at the zones/rooms: What are the numbers there? Zone for example: #1 is the ID, #3 the amount of rooms existing in the region, what is #2?
- Bug: If I say "listchars Nepris" and there's noone there I get the message: "We currently have 1 chars:" (without any name, though, but the number is not correct)

The latest version of the server has a lot of improvements.

-We have a couple creatures added to test some stuff.
-We have added about 80 socials, 300 more on the way.
-Artimidor's requested hopzone <zoneID> was added for Daonami to get around quickly.
-We added a daonami command to set flags on rooms.  setroomflag <flagname> [on|off].  Room flagnames include isOutside, isPublic, isWater, and isRecall.
-recall command added to teleport you back to the last recall room you passed.
-listskills command added which currently lists all learnables.  In next version it won't include stats and attributes like hp and str.
-help socials now dynamically detects and displays available socials.  A similar system will be available for all commands at a later date.
-Support for wilderness added once psd is finished with roads.
