As I've already mentioned Konstantinos has already started with building Nepris a bit. And though several changes on the map and rooms are still necessary (and I see various things about which I have to talk with him), you'll get already a first idea what the game might look like. Currently it looks of course still like a bigger construction yard, texts are too long here and there, the start text isn't story related, room captions are not shown, when you re-enter a room you again get the full description text presented and so on, but this is only a first basis for discussions.

Here's the adventure to download: Nepris Adventure (178 KB)

To install it:
1.) Unzip the file
2.) Open the Legendary Tales Engine
3.) Click Install adventure in the files menu
4.) Select the file
5.) Open Book
6.) Select Village of Nepris

If you still haven't downloaded the engine and would like to play what is already there of the adventure, go back to this thread and download the whole stuff first.

Should you discover something annoying or think that something definitely needs changing, just post here. We're aware of many things and I'm sure Konstantinos will try to fix these things, but it's always good to hear comments.

BTW: Integrated is also a dialogue with Terlano Anshar, Thuja's unfriendly fisherman (you can find him somewhere to the south).

BTW2: The game also uses the Santharian Nepris map you can find on the site and displays it when you click at the maps tab. Rooms you haven't seen yet are hidden, and if you move around the map will slightly be revealed. Currently the map doesn't scroll with your movements and you also don't see an X marking your position, so it won't help you much, but you should get an idea on how it will turn out in the end.

ok, the good:

the map - looks sweet, and is very helpfull for a visual ppl like me :)

the bad:

what's happening? is it a ghost town? there seems to be noone to talk to, and this one fisherman that I met doesnt respond - when I click talk-choose his name, do OK, nothing happens. has the engine been updated or anything?

it would be great if your position would show up on the map

the ugly - apart from the gui, nothing ;)

Ah, now I see what you mean. You obviously tried to talk to Dhren Rockfaith in the Prosperous Farm. This one isn't done yet. Move further south, over the small bridge, then west. There's Terlano:)
