I have almost finished this dialogue as well. :smokin

Should I have gotten a records picture? And what important information the player will see in the records, especially when he pays to have a look?

Will the rooms he buys play some role in the game?

Why would he buy both rooms?

The AGAIN_RECORDS keyword is not turned on anywhere in the dialogue.

That's all for now.

I don't know if it's my place to comment in this stage but I see now something that I overlooked: the player shouldn't be able to buy both rooms, he has to pick one.

I guess we still need to decide if choosing a room has any importance later in the game? I would be perfectly ok in either case (even if choosing a room has no effect at all).

with the records, "the ball" is in Arti's field now :)

No records pic available yet, will be added at some point, don't worry. The purpose of the records book is not yet decided, but as Smith suggested, the player could perhaps see that someone hasn't paid yet and get the money for the guy, so that the guy may join his party. This part ist still vague, just give us some time. But whether this will be integrated this way or not, the record part could still be kept this way. Nobody forces the player to look at the records. So it could be as well a strategy of the innkeeper to just make some money:p

Role of the rooms may also have some minor importance. Player might find some left items for example in the more expensive room. Or for example: A bag of gold, which he could keep, or give to the innkeeper and get something in return. Well, we'll see.

Both rooms can't be bought. The dialogue also doesn't allow this as far as I can see.

AGAIN_RECORDS: Yup, there's a little mistake in there. It is intended that the player can ask the innkeeper about the records again and again if he wants, once he has seen them once. So the changes necessary would be in this part:

<node id="PAY_RECORDS">
<text>The innkeeper grabs the money and shows you the inn records.

After taking a closer look, you hand the book back to the innkeeper.</text>
<option target="AGAIN_RECORDS">"Can I take a look at the records again, please?"</option>

<node id="AGAIN_RECORDS">
<keyword>Show Records</keyword>
<text>The innkeeper shows you the records.</text>
<option target="AGAIN_RECORDS">"Can I take a look at the records again, please?"</option>

Hope that clarifies things;)
