starttesting is going to be around may/juni/july depending on the release of .NET by microsoft. and until then nothing else can be done, althrough we need someone to do a heightmap for testing but as said there is about 5 months until we can test it so it would be a bit pointless to spend much more then 5 minutes on it at this point. until the testing time we pretty much only can continue to add to the ideas, as in example come up with more and more skills, stats, spells, and then in about 3 months we will release a basic system for how it could be done with levels etc and then its up for suggestions and addons. from there on there will be much work cause it will be possible to integrate some skills & some stats followed by whatever has the highest level of demand at that point, fx jumping is impossible in the first testingtime, but it will be a must to be able to integrate some objects etc. i doubt we can have 2 characters ingame at the same time without this "collisionwarning" but i would have to talk to nate to be certain, he has more details about this subject.

Very close sorry I don't get around to the forums very much.  We have been testing individual components and features of the graphics engine c++ com dll.  Loaded into vb.  For the actual game we will need .net.  .net was released towards the end of january for msdn subscribers.  It's febuary some time around now for everyone else with a price around $2,000.  Needless to stay we are continuing development with beta 2.  I got about 5 copies of the beta.  We will need to compile it and work out some issues with the final release before external testing.

Graphics engine located at www.truevision3Dsdk.com has not had all the .net bugs fixed. in it's latest beta which has been delayed 3 months in order to make sure all the .net issues have been worked out.  Primary server, movement subserver, AI subserver, skill/action subserver, login/character creation subserver, and database server components are all continuing unrestricted by the graphics engine difficulties.  Please keep in mind that we aren't loaded with a lot of high skill developers nor a lot of money for engine and stuff.  The TrueVision3D engine is only like $1000 for commercial license and from what I have seen it's not up to the quality of a commercial product yet so I don't think they have had too many purchases.  This means they don't have the developer time needed to do somethings as quickly as we would desire.

However, things are progressing and the game is moving foreward.  I still work full time and that won't change for a while still.
