By the way: I've also written and posted a mail today addressed to 8 people who offered to help the Santharian Dream in the last three months but haven't answered a second time to my first mail so far. Well, let's see how many of them can be convinced to become Santharian enthusiasts...

So here's a positive response of one of the people I reminded - obviously Christopher is an AD&D player. Maybe we can establish some role playing section on the site? This would also be something for our gnome...

Here's Adam's mail:

"Hello, sorry forgot about it.. got free internet now so i am gonna start helping your site.
Do you want a crazy npc wizard? our DM thought up one and he is a god. He will Help (if you can call it that) the people out and is meant to defend his forest.

Tell me what you think"

And mail No2 from the same person:

"Here you go:

Crazy Guy (no name as of yet!):

This person was created at the dawn of time, if asked he will say something crytic which will follow the general meaning of 2 days ago..
His powers are unlimited though he only uses them for good and prefers to give things legs, and like things to be orange.. the more he likes a thing the more orange he makes it.
When he walks he falls over and pulls off his head, polishes it and puts it back on..
Crazy yet?
He also wants to be part of any group he encounters (he get lonely looking after a forest) and will follow them if they be nice and tell him that he should bring his forest with him. This will cause him to pull a branch off a tree and bring it with him. Under no circumstances can he be killed and he will only leave people alone we he is bored with them.

Sorry, but if someone plays AD&D in your world.. they'll love it

Adam Rickards (KoRn_Fan)"

Well, I always post kind'a like "in character". I'll give a description.

Born in the Elven Forest of Tethir, Xaron was raised by his parents in the middle of nature. Unforunately, when he was 33 years old, the woods were marauded by Orcs and the little house was among their targets. Being the lone survivor because his father, an Illusionist of some reknown, had made him invisible, he went away, chosing to one day take his revenge or die trying.

Eventually he was found by wood-elves, who taught him how to handle the bow and the sword. Being a gnome, and not a big one, they gave him a short sword but learned him to fight as with a long sword, resulting in a somewhat strange though not ineffective fighting-style.

When he had spend about twenty years with the wood-elves, he was taught the arts of magica by a friendly high elf. At Xaron's sixtieth birth-day, he was given a staff by his master and friend.

Xaron now knew his time had come...
Because of his past, Xaron has become little talkative, though one wouldn't say he doesn't enjoy life. It is very clear that he has a love for nature that is unmatched by many. His dark eyes mostly watch closely and he became some of the senses that are more elven-like than gnomisch.

This character I use anything and all that. I'm trying to fit him in a story (yet about five pages, but he hasn't appeared yet :->   )
'tis a pity that in BG, he looks like a dwarf, but with some imagination (and taking off my glasses) he looks quite gnomisch.

As I mentioned, he's a fighter with short sword and bow and a mage as well. Though he limits the amount of magic he flashes around, as it tends to upset those that look...

I hope no-one's upset that I made him raised by elves? (and thus he probably knows about Ava/the one as well :-)

Xaron the annoying
