Isn't 'zu mir' 'to me' in english?

I can't say I've ever heard that proverb, though in ENgland we tend to say 'Could be worse' alot, something to do with that stiff upper lip thing probably.

I've heard that quote before. It was something like -

"And from the Chaos a voice spoke to me -

Smile, and be happy, for it could be worse.

And I smiled, and I was happy, and it did get worse."

:lol  I thought it was pretty amusing...I don't think it's a proverb though, hehe.

Elienta is the right English equivalent!

Proverb might be too much, but I heard it alot as a popular saying in fantasy context.

'to me' is  'zu mir'. Just thought it might sound better that way! :lol

They are coming soon, I have done them with claris works and have to find a way now to transfer them to this board (printing , scanning, uploading...)

I've had some thoughts to Rahmat and Uderza as well, will post under places.

Very nice description. The six tents (no offense) reminds me of a cirlce of sunflowers O.o Aaaanyway. So many foreign languages... And I'm only starting Spanish I o.o Although I've picked up a smattering of Latin, but I don't know conjugation, only flat words. Of course, my favorite saying is Carpe Pisces Pisces. ^-^ Muaha!

Also like it muchly. I think you can put this all together in the description of the town of Rahmat. The evermoving city with its tents is the most important Shendar town where all your building/tent ideas can come together as well. Maybe you can fit the buildings into the existing Uderzan entry or just make a complete entry for it all.

Whee a tribe less to worry about in my little province ;)

Thanks for your posts, it will take some time, though I have a lot more time now not playing Sorren anymore, lol

Sorry sweetie, I wasn't trying to insult your translation. My German is nowhere near as good as your English.

I'll take what was posted here and make an entry about Shendar Housing on it. Uderza entry will also be updated as mentioned in another post. We would still need a more detailed entry on Rahmat if possible. - Thanx for the work, Talia! Sorry, that I couldn't integrate it earlier, but the menu redesign consumed a lot of time.

Oh, well, I don't think I finished yet, I'm still not satisfied with it. And I will work some more on Rahmat, but there a drawing is necessary and I definitly don't master the grafic tools I have (not to mention the grandfather of comp I have)

Please take the Compendium entry I've put up as a reference for further changes, Talia (copy & paste into Word e.g.)! Then do changes with another color so that I know exactly what was changed. This is necessary, because of the links I've already made.

Tent drawings still aren't integrated - we'll see about this if possible...

Hmmmm...., Hmmm... I've something but it is not finished and I don't know if I did it right.

I'm currently working very much with 3D programs for a a job(beside school, as usual) and to relax from the stress (dynamic Skin deformation is stress!!) I did these swords and well, have a look on your own:

I was not sure if the images and description seem realistic. Main problem were the smaller tents as I found no references on their size and as they had to fit in they had to be considerable small.
The tent is therotecially 8m in size, the entrance 1.50m height, the roof of the main tent around 3m. I'd eventually continue work on this one if I find the time.

I hope it is according to the description. My main focus was to make it formed in a way it might be actually build...
Hmmm... back to work!

Nice pic, Koldar! We'll have to see how Talia likes it:)

Only thing I'm not quite sure about is if rendered images will fit 100% to the site (transgression between tent and sand of course looks still artificial). Maybe we could use a Photoshop filter on it, so that it looks more drawn than rendered, perhaps a bit of a sand storm could be added as well - could give that a try. Well, just some ideas which could be worth a try. But it looks very fine already;)
