Your oral traditions sound great. Here is a suggestion though. Instead of putting your oral traditions in the tribal entry, since you are going to make them in the style of singing, I suggest you put them in the library thread under the poetry section. That way we can say your tribe is finished and can integrate it into the compendium.

BTW what language are you using for your signature, French? I like it alot. What ever the language, are you from whatever country that language comes from or are you just using it?

You make three entries, you become a member. I would like to see that happen very much. Your imagination, style and humor would be welcomed in Santharia and by myself.

:o  actaully the language is Sor'inyt and of my own device. though i admit i used a tiny bit of the french "stye" [position of words etc] when i wrote it [french is my second language- english being first].

i like the thought of the entries being in the library. if i did that then would the lists of "stories" be made as links to the stories?  wow- feelings very important at the moment! ;)

the entry is almost finshed then. i'm hoping by 4pm (my time- just for refernce: time here is now 1:04pm[eastern timezone]) it should be all up! :)

Very original. It would be good if you write your stories in the Sor'inyt language then translate.

I look forward to your complete entry.

You live in the Eastern States. Where?

the entry is now complete. :D  yippe!

i live in the northest- Pennsylvania to be exact. such a dull part of the country!  j/k. :)  my life is lively enough.

i have been considering writing the entries completely in Sor'inytian but didn't want people to think i was nuts ;)  what do you think? not to make you uncomfertable- but i've def come to respect your opinion! :)

Me? Uncomfortable? Yes :lol   Actually I'm flattered.

My suggestion is to make your oral traditions in your language but then translate it. Otherwise you will get so many requests for you to translate it that eventually you will have to do so. This way, if you do it now you save yourself some work.

BTW- Congrats on your first entry. Great Job!! I'm looking forward to your next imaginitive entry in whatever subject you choose. I have integrated your entry for Art's approval. If all things go well you should see it up in the next update.

Welcome, Anaea, and I hope that you will find the same solace in writing as I do, here in Nowheresville, Illinois. Actually... Decatur. Unofficial motto: Worst P.R. town in the history of the world!

Well, in case you haven't noticed, Capher... It's already on the site since last update. So I have to check exactly what's new to update the entry. Already did that here locally, so I hope I haven't missed anything.

whew! i go away for 12 hours and suddenly i got popular!! :)
i could tell you percisely what is new if you like:

the whole thing basically went under a cosmetic renevation. the largest additions are namely the government, sex/preg, training, and natural resouces.

working now on the oral stories. "The Or'ia" is completely written in english and is undergoing the long and involved translation process. you should see it up in the library section within the fortnight. ;)

Sorry Art I did not know you took it already. I thought that until I posted it in the mod area that you would not take an entry. I guess I was wrong. Maybe I took too long in posting it. But I saw Anaea still working on it and did not think that it was ready for your approval.  As you can see Anaea did do some rework. I posted the whole thing in the mod forum. Again I am sorry if things got messed up. I apologize to you Art and you too Anaea.

I've posted in this thread that I'll put it up if what we have is considered final and got no objections, so I did (still had time to integrate something last week, so I thought I'll go for this tribe). Well, doesn't matter - thanx for poiting out the changes Anaea - will be included this update!
