Greets.  As you can see (or will see by reading below) I am very new here and I am not sure if I am doing anything wrong.  Nice to meet you all.

Aquaelusrian Elf/Human Tribe
Overview
A Human/Elven tribe with a kingdom stretching from the south eastern to western coasts the Isle of Quios'kathar.

Appearance
The Aquaelusrian humans are about the same height as of the common human and almost as built.  As for the elves, they are a bit slender and shorter.  They both were very slightly more slender, but surprisingly fast (elves being faster). They (both human and elf) have a small amount of psychological power, but can greatly increase due to emotional effects, such as love and anger, and at some times, can even surpass the power of some high elven beings. Their skin tones in general are paler than the more common humans, but they still vary.  The human portion of the tribe have a peach color skin tone  and the elves of a vanilla skin tone.  The half elf's skin tone blend between their elven and human parents.  Their eyes range from a blue green to a deep glowing blue.

Coat of Arms
The tribe's coat of arms is a ring of nine stars over a moonlit sea.  The nine stars symbolize spiritual strength and perfection, nine is the perfect number.  The ring symbolizes physical strength and flexibility, a ring of steel can be bent and stretched, but hard to break, it is also the symbol of their goddess, Baveras, goddess of the sea and the water. And the sea represents purity and rebirth.

Territory
The Aquaelusrian people live in the south most parts of the isle of Quios'kathar, which is temperate.

People
Aquaelusrians are very skilled fishermen.  They are also skilled with tridents in battle and smithing them.  Their magic is mostly holy and water based and have the ability to inscribe spells on their weapons, although it will not be as powerful inscribed than actually casting the spell, the weapon's power will never diminish.

Housing
Aquaelusrians dwell in well developed villages that can sometimes hold a population over 200 people.  Their houses are composed of either beached wood or timber fastened together with metal rings.

Clothing
The male portion of the tribe rarely wear any type of shirt and usually wear shorts or pants made of wool.  The female portion only cover the basic portions of their body with hemp clothing.

Food
The Aquaelusrian diet consists of vegetables and fish they catch.

Weapons
Weapons were needed for protection from intruders and invasions, this is where they shine.  The weapon the tribe focuses on is the Trident, it is the weapon of the sea and if used right, serves better than a long sword.  The trident was also used for catching fish.
Occupations
The main jobs for the male were fishing, smithing, and building.  The female's job were to take care of the youths, tailor, also fishing and building.

Government
The Government of the Aquaelusrian was originally tribal, but due to the number of tribal leaders civil wars spread between the tribes until Monarchy was established and all the tribes became one kingdom.

Production/Trade
The Aquaelusrians exported fish and weapons and imported iron ore from the city of Quios for their smiths.

Natural Resources
Wood in the Querinlon Forest, and fish from the Adanian sea.

Holidays, Festivals and Observances
The Aquaelusrians celebrate their belief in their god, Baveras on the first day of the Month of the Passing Clouds.  The festival would start and end at dawn the next day.  The Aquaelusrians would build a raft and stack wood on it, tie it to the end of a rope onto the shore and light the raft on fire and dance to it.

Important Achievements (Optional)
On the 9th day of the Month of the Passing Clouds, a champion named Helos Meftus was returning home from fishing in the deep sea he witnessed the great goddess herself, Baveras, singing as she moved her fingers along the surface of the water.

History
*Not finished

Nope, it doesn't work that way, Etheleos. You can't create just something somewhere somehow without doing detailed research and/or ask around if it's possible to develop a certain part. Things need to be discussed in detail before projects like races and tribes are being made, and there is a current ban on new races and tribes, cause we elaborate in detail what we have already, otherwise we would end up with hundreds of new tribes and little isles of all the newcomers who want to "just have a little tribe on a little isle". Know what I mean?

BTW: Got a mail from someone about joining the dev team - is that you perhaps? Just to make sure.

hmmmm... please don't get mad at me because I might seem a bit "pushy" with Nybelmar but I really do believe that it's important to get the base things finished there. Now it's just me and Koldar working on that continent and we are both "located" in the east part. The west part of the continent is mainly undevelopped (that means it has large blank spots and it lacks a historical overview), except for the kingdom of Orcal (Silfer's) and the little Doimo tribe (Arkon ... hmmm... I'm blushing, sorry I think I spelled the name wrong). We need to cover those blank spots and I think that may include a new tribe.
Anyway, I would suggest that with a little editing maybe we can fit that into west Nybelmar...

Is this your first entry?

As others said, you really need to do your research. Have you read the tribes currently up? Have you looked around in this forum and reviewed the other tribes? This entry is very lacking in detail. You need to be specific when you do these entries. You don't know the animals or plants of the terrain or if there are even enough plants and animals to do an entry of this nature.

I highly reccomend that you stick to work that is easier and requires less knowledge of the Santharian world, such as beasts or plants. It's a great way to begin learning about Santharia and the terrain. However, it may be a while before you can do entries like this. I didn't do a place entry (also a kind of entry that requires a lot of knowledge) until I had been around for at least a few months and knew what I was getting into. I did my research.

You can't just join the RPG and expect that you have the knowledge to pull off this kind of entry. Start with the basics first and build a foundation that you can work off of.

Well, usually you introduce yourself at the Newbie forum first. ;)  Main thing is that people need to understand what is going on where why, thus not everyone can make up new tribes and place them somewhere otherewise we get a mess but not a working world.

About tribes it is not even so much about new tribes being prohibited but that you should start out on smaller things till you have a general idea how the world works before you make sometihing as important as a tribe. See the Erepheronians who have impact on the whole history of Santharia. Tribes and kingdoms are at the peak of entry making as they'll spawn hundreds of other detail entries to come, from society to science to history.

Santharia is currently the focus of development, Nybelmar gets dragged along by me who was mean enough to push Smith into the mess there and other continents are only little developed as only few people are making occasional entries on the region there and a general concept is missing to most so it is difficult to start.

I'd advise you to first look into things and see if there's something you really want to develop (maybe some town, beast, plant or something). It might be even a tribe but you should be generally aware that tribes should have more than just their tribe entry but a concept on their whole role in Caelereth thus it might prove very hard to keep interest up. Before you develop some new tribe you could even look if you want to flesh out some Santharian tribe more by adding details on their culture, towns or history, maybe famous people.

Still, welcome, just have a look and see what might interest you. ;)

@Smith: just for info. Quios is northeast of Santharia, wrong part of the world! ;)
About tribes I'm happy to have provided a rough list what might fit where in Nybelmar but luckily I want to evolve the main stream of history around Korweynites, Murmillions and Kaýrrhem which keep direct necessities to get things further quite low. if I'd the time to write down what is in my head in Standard English instead of Enigma garbage! But holidays will come one day...

@Koldar

I knew that :)  ... lol
now seriously, I suggested "just a little" editing (meaning changing the place and so on...). And if the west part is supposed to be something else I thought it might be good to fill it up a little with some things that has nothing to do with the east part...

oh well, lol...

I've talked with Etheleos yesterday already... He'll try his hand on a Cave Spider (see picture at the Spider's Overview last update). This should do for a start;)
