I would expect it pays better. As a bard you pretty much live from job to job on what money you get, but, as long as there are pitworms, the tender will have a steady job and a steady paycheck.

And like Faugar said, you just gotta poke em with a stick every now and then. ;)

yeah, the higher you go in the foodchain, the less you have to do. Take me - I have an office job now.. and the sea air is a refief :)
And when you get to Santharian Sage level, people pay you just for saying anything, especially if it's something odd.. ;)
