Like my topic said, I wanna really start adding to the development of Sorren/Santharia. I've found that reading history, or just general stuff about mages, countries, and gods is really interesting, and I want someone someday to read my stuff and say "Wow, this guy made a great contribution to Sorren's development." Especially Artimidor. How would I go about really being one of the "big cheeses" here?

I'm confused about the provinces, Kingdoms, and such about Santharia.  It's really confusing, because one time it's Sarvonia, then it's the U.K. of Santharia, then it's divided up, and all this other stuff on all the maps. Is the whole continent one big kingdom or what ?what about the other continents anyway?

Well... basically.....

Sarvonia is the name of the continent.

Northern Sarvonia is the northen region of the continent.

Southern Sarvonia is the southern region of the continent.

Santharia is the kingdom that makes up the regions in Southern Sarvonia.... so, Southern Sarvonia pretty much is Santharia.

erm - please please don't take this the wrong way, but I think wanting to be considered a 'Major Contributer' is perhaps the wrong attitude to go in with. This is a team effort, there isn't a rank system - though the longer you have been here, generally the more you have read and understand - Thuja for example never works on what you might call 'major' things but we'd be lost without her.

Please don't get me wrong, I think its great that you want to join and help out, but its gotta be for the joy of creation, there is no perks to being a very involved member - in fact the more involved you are the more time, work - and occasinally in Arti's case, money it seems to take!

The first step is to go and read as much of what already exists as possible - there is sadly no skipping that step. The next is usually to start on animals or plants - I have a list longer than my arm if you want a start project.......

I'd steer clear of mages, and magic in general that moment. It's all a big confusing mess. Already sucked in me, Xarl, Vir, and Dasson. We don't need others to be lost in the frustrating hubris of revisions x.x

Want to be a major contributor? Be a major contributor! Don't wait! Search the site, look for something unfinished that interests you, something missing that you like, suggest what you want to do and then: Do it!

what about all this Levels stuff on your titles??? Oh, by the way,  I wanna change my character's bio. Becuase, as Koldar knows, I created a local god for Nybelmar. I want my character to be a servant of that god, Ghal. So, I know you guys are Admins, so I just wanted to let you know.

BTW: Uhh... animals aren't my things. But herbs I could do. Also, I'm working on a region of islands called the Wild Islands. I'm posting that in a few min. here...

the level thing is just a joke kinda thing.  No real meaning.  But the reason you don't have one is that you are a visitor.  Which means I belive that you didn't sign on before posting your messgae.  I think this is the problem but if it isn't then please correct me then.

I think Rhuken uses a local account so it only works in one boad but on the upside he gets a better choice of names since it only considers names used on the board he localised on.
