Character Generation and History!

I love createing a designing characters and thier backgrounds. I am known to use great detail. Sometimes it can take months to finish one character. I believe the more you know about a single charater the more real they become to a reader. I am hopeing that the developers of this site can use my talents in this area or others for thier benifit. I first visited this place when it was no more then a teaser clip. I became hooked on the concept. Pure genius! If it's not much of an inconvience I thought it would be idea if I were to construct a Character generation forum where I create the charaters and the backgrounds and other members can visit and leave thier opinions and ideas about that character. If you can think of anything else plese tell me I want to help this site become popular productive and perfect!

Well... if you want to make characters to use in writing... then it should be at the RP forum... you would post your characters at the Character Descriptions forum, and then you can participate in various group stories that exist there.....

But if you want to create characters to use in stories that you are going to write for Santharia that will go on the site in the library section, then you can create the chars in the People forum here, and then the stories in the Library forum...

As Dasson has alread pointed out there are more possibilities to create "characters". It depends on what you would interpret as a character. In fact there are 3 different possibilities:

1.) Characters for the RPG Play-By-Post Forum
People usually create their own characters and play at the Play-By-Post adventures with this char. Don't know if you've also created a character for this board.

2.) Santharian Celebrities
Which means: Entries for the site of people who are famous for whatever reason, of past ages or of people, who are still alive.

3.) NPC (Non-playing-characters) for the MUD
In the MUD game we develop we also develop characters, which are not controlled by the players. They are not only there to provide quests and information for the players, but should also have a complete personaility of their own. This personality should show when talking to these NPCs, so it is important to have a good background for them as well.

Such NPCs look like this, all drawn by our artists, and what we need in this respect are dialogues, which can be made with our new dialogue builder program.

Let me know which kind of character generation you have in mind.

Well frankly I am willing to do anything I can to help. I love what youve done here and I would be honored to be able to say I offered whatever small amount of experience I had to aid your attempts in launching this wonderful concept. I really dont even need to recieve credit for what I do. Knowing myself that I helped it award enough. I would be completely will to be a silent/invisible aid. If that makes it easier for you and the fellow creators of the site.
