Too, too long..

Wow, it's been far too long since I've been here last. How long as it been, Art? 6, maybe 8 months? A lot has changed here, both visually and in terms of members. And apparantly somebody *pokes Rayne with a stick* has actually managed to save this board. So what's been up while I've been away? Anyone care to fill me in on the details of Santh about the past half-year?

It's great to be back, I've forgotten how wondrous this place is. Hopefully I'll be able to stay..

Hello Kendo! Well, I don't remember you very clearly anymore, cause as we can see at your post count you disappeared pretty quickly. But I saw you did the Ice Dragon rework, where we still have the Habitat/Behaviour part missing (hint!). So welcome back, I'm sure we can find some more stuff for you to do if you want to help out somewhere

Yeah, somehow it seems Kendo has been away veeeeery long and may suffer under Santharian disorientation, huh?

Oh, and as I see he hasn't posted for several days now, so I have my doubts he'll be able to stay longer... :rolleyes

*laughs* you don't have to worry about me yet, Art. You might actually know me by a few other aliases, i.e. Eiji Maelstrom, Genshi, or some other random thing in which I no longer remember. Hmm.. so the Ice Dragon's still not completely finished yet? Sure, I'll gladly work on that. Thanks for keeping the job open to me for so long! ^.~

As for "keeping this board alive", apparantly Santh was dying while I was away, and Rayne was a very busy bee and e-mailed everyone she knew from here and begged them to come back, or something along those lines. At least that's what she told me.

By the way.. you seem to pretty much have Santh under good control. Is there anything outlandishly important that you need help with? I'd love to help, with what little help I can provide. Anyways, I must go, so I'll see you all later!

(P.S. sorry about not posting for so long x.x I kept meaning to follow up my post and my memory SUCKS >.< so I never remembered to come to Santh whenever I was online.)

Just checked... It's the Frost Dragon, not the Ice Dragon, to be precise. It's already mostly done, but one section is still missing. Shouldn't be too much trouble.

And yup, most important is that you try to be on the board regularly, this ensures that development can progress efficiently... Make Santharia your startpage and then it's harrd to miss:P

Well, that's relative... Every now and then I get some on my head from our busy bee cause I plan to reduce our bestiary output

But Rayne is everywhere indeed, and she also tried to bring more visitors back to the RPG board by mailing members - she really gives her best and her work is very much appreciated. So far Santharia still stands

If you're looking for more work: I'm trying to set up a development team for the outlandish important Manthrian region (around the town of Marcogg). So if you'd like to work on something like places/buildings descriptions, artifacts, people and related things, I'd be very happy to brainstorm with you on what you could do in detail. Just let me know.

I'd love to brainstorm some ideas with you, Art. Arcogg region you said? I'll have to check that out. -.o And what kind of welcome back was that, Rayne? *chuckles* and actually, I checked out the Frost Dragon, seems someone edited it while I was gone. But that's alright, and I'll do my best to make that one last section good ^_^

However, Art.. do you have an AIM address? I have something I want to get off my chest, but I'd rather not say it on this board. If you do have AIM, gimme a nod at LupineMaverick whenever I'm on.

Oh and one last thing. -.- Here's a little disclaimer of mine: if something I came up with seems suspiciously like something else, I didn't know about that something else. I say this because I once made a planet named Sylesia (picked the name randomly out of my head), and I found out this year there really WAS a place in Europe called that, only spelled "Silesia". T-T heartbroken I was...

Hmmmm.. alright so Marcogg has almost nothing? I'd love to work with you on it, Art. I'll research it a bit before I do anything, but I'll try and do my best to brush up on the creatures and everythign there, and make a good history and everything! ^_^;; might take a little while considering I've been gone WAY too long.. but yea. At least I know my way around the site a bit.

Actually, the Manthrian region (the province) is already developed quite a bit - just take a look at the Places menu, and you'll see already some Places entries. People living in this area are descendants of the Avennorian tribe, and we also have the Mitharim dwarves in this region for example and the Auturian Woods close by with the Tethinrhim elves. Also our LT RPG game we're making, takes place in the fishing village of Nepris. So there's quite a lot of stuff already there. The Manthrian entry BTW is still in progress (see here), but Judy hopes to finish it within the next weeks.

More rough maps on the region can be found in the Sarvonian Forum, here specificly, all made by Bard Judith for general reference.

So just have a look around there, maybe you can find something which catches your eye and you'd like to elaborate it.

I'll make sure to check all that stuff out. Just one thing... Marcogg doesn't even have a link on the Places scroll. Does that mean that just the town has nothing on it? Or is that a kingdom? Or what? I'm a little confused at that.
