Galons idea also sounds workable. I like the idea of giants being friendly, withdrawn somewhere in the woods and skilled with healing magic! Somehow I guess the main reason for this is that I watched "The Green Mile" yesterday on DVD - and obviously John Coffey was such a Galon;)     (BTW: Really recommendable movie and another excellent role of Tom Hanks!)

I'd suggest that you elaborate on the Galons, but try to stick on the scheme we used for other races in the Races section!

Hmmm... Maybe we could use the picture for the Galons Faugar once made as a troll version? The guy on the pic looks pretty friendly, I guess, so he may be interpreted as a Galon, too - what do you think?

I like the idea of them wandering in through te etherial void....If you'd like them to wander it right through the void Brownies in Aeolia (just an option), we can work together on that! :)

quite possible....but different part of the world than you're talking them living in. If you look at the map, the farthest south is where the Void Brownies live. Santharia is a continent to the north. If they dislike desert climate, the Brownies could help them move north?

After the Brownies help them cross the desert, a few of them decide to go with the Rhyshan?(and I have to know, in the Scions of Shannara, is Rimmer Dall a shadowen or not!?

Now the real question is, is Ohmsford?

What I mean with the Brownies is, what were your thoughts for after they arrive on the Crimson Isles (or wherever they are going), if they do come with the Ryshan?

they decide to stay and help the Rhyshan, and eventually decide to stay?(I`m not really good with ideas....all my thoughts are going into this "Ancients" Idea, which is connected with the Origin of the Rhyshan.

They would be like.....the teachers, kinda of educating the Rhyshan about the world.(Since they did walk in through the void) Otherwise I dont know ^^;, any of your ideas are welcome though!^^;;;;;;;;
