The Bloodworm

Image description:

The red-color Bloodworm, a juvenile stage of a Lightworm. Bloodworms range in size from just over a ped long when freshly hatched, to lengths of up to fifty peds. Although the beast is completely blind, masses of Bloodworms can be lethal and were also the cause for the closing of the famous Kersolt gem mines near the Hèckranian Volcano at 60 b.S.
